Hedin-The Retired Soldier

Leucos and Hercules were walking through the forest Hamlet. They encountered an old man who was walking back to his house. 

Hercules " Excuse me, sir can I ask you the way to Olympus."

Old man turned back " Olympus you say, it's in that direction."

Hercules " Thank you very much sir, your help is much appreciated. "

Hercules and Leucos were about to leave. 

Old man " Did you kids just came out of that forest."

Leucos " Yes, we did. But I say, we got really lucky. We were running from monsters all this time."

Hercules " They chased as all around. It was simply pure luck that we survived. "

Old man " O I see. Why you kids want to go to Olympus ?"

Leucos " We were just trying to get a blessing from a God and do some adventuring activity and stuff like that. "

Old man with a smile " Oh ho.. you kids are high spirited. Good luck with that and be careful kids." 

Hercules " Sure, thanks gramps."

 They walked for only one minute. They realizes that it was getting dark. Decides to stay in a tavern. They searched for one in that place and found one. But the price was high. Doesn't have that much money. So Leucos exchanged some of the herbs he has been collecting for the money. 

 Finally they rented a room in lodge. Both of them took a nice bath. Hercules almost misunderstood Leucos for a girl for which he got an earful. They rested until evening. 

Hercules was looking through the window. He was trying to remember who he used to be. Leucos asked him weather he is able to remember anything. He replied that he couldn't remember anything. Leucos told him that they ask some Gods to fix your memories once they get to Olympus. Hercules then agreed to Leucos.

It's already night. They decided to get some dinner from outside. So they went out. Found a tavern and entered. Get a table for themselves. It was all noisy. Some thugs were also present. They were laughing and drinking.

Leucos and Hercules ordered for some food. Food arrived in a short while. They started enjoying the food. Only thing that disturbed them were the noise and nuisance created by the thugs. 

Then suddenly a man rushed into the tavern. He was very angry and upset. The man took a plate from nearby table and smashed it on the head of the thug leader. The thug leader harassed his daughter. He, as a retired soldier couldn't stand it. Now he is here to beat these guys. 

But something unexpected happened. The thug leader got angry. Then both of them began to engage in fight. The owner of the tavern stayed back and didn't make a word. The man was overpowering the thug leader. 

Realizing that he is going to beat the shit out of the leader, others members also joined. The man is put into a big disadvantage. They began to beat this guy very badly. He got badly injured too. None in the pub could raise a word against that violence. 

Hercules couldn't stand it any more. The man was already on his knees bleeding all over. The thug leader and everyone were laughing. Then he was about to smash a plate on that man. Hercules stood up and grabbed that man's hand.

Hercules with a cold face "That's enough."

Thug with a confused face "huh."

Leucos with a smirk." Don't you guys had enough, so stop now."

Everyone started laughing. Then the thug just dropped the plate and catch it with the other hand. He smashed his face with it. Hercules got an small wound on his face. Hercules got angry. He punched him straight to his face. The thug leader smashed into the table nearby. His face got screwed and become unconscious. 

Leucos " You choose a wrong guy to mess with."

Everyone stopped laughing at once. Another one throw a knife at him. Hercules simply tilted his body and caught the knife. He threw it back at him. Enemies palm was pinned to the wall. Enemy screaming out of pain. 

Another guy take a chair and smashed at Hercules's body, while he put his guard up with his bare hands. The wooden chair scattered. Hercules didn't go easy on him. He grabbed him by his collar with both his hands and tossed him up with great force. The enemy hit his head on the roof so hard. He fell to the floor so heavily. 

Another guy go for Leucos with a butcher Knife. Leucos skillfully avoided the attack. Leucos picked up a beer bottle and smashed it on his head. Before his enemy could make another move, Leucos gave him a straight kick right to his chin. Enemy knocked out clean.

The owner and other people were shocked to see all that strength and skill of both of them. There is only four rebels remaining. One of them pulled of his sword. Hercules searched for his sword on his hip. He forgot to take his sword with him. 

Enemy Attacked him with his sword. Hercules dodge his sword attacks. Enemy got some kills with swords. Hercules got a cut on his right arm. Hercules caught his enemy's hand with the sword and twist it so violently to break his hand. Sword was dropped to the ground. Hercules caught him by his neck and slammed him so hardly to the table. It almost destroyed his back. 

Then the retired soldier also joined the fight. Then before they could think together they beat the hell out of them. Then they were to exit the shop

The shop owner " Wait a minute, you three, who is going to pay for all this mess."

Leucos " Hey, Hercules I think this guy want his share too. "

Everyone except Leucos shocked to hear that name. 

The shop owner shaking "D-Did you just call him H-Hercules?"

Hercules turned back and gave him a side glance, with a cold voice " What now? Do you have any problem? "

The shop owner " No sir, absolutely no problem from my side, Please forgive me for my rudeness."

Leucos taking advantage of the situation, with a smirk face " So what now, do we have pay for this mess or do they have to pay for it?"

The Shop owner " No, no sir you didn't do anything wrong here, I will make sure they will pay for all this mess. So kindly leave us."

Hercules "Mm... Good."

Hercules and Leucos started walking towards their Lodge. 

The retired soldier " Excuse me sir, Are you really the legendary Hercules. "

Leucos " You are....., The one who started all this."

Hercules " Yes, I am Hercules and this is my friend Leucos. During the argument, I heard that your daughter was harassed. So how is she now. "

The soldier " She was terrified by those bastards while I was not there. Now she is fine now. But I couldn't stand it at all. That's why I came to beat them. I need to make sure that she won't get scared anymore."

Hercules "That good to hear, Mr.... "

Soldier " It's Hedin sir. "

Hercules " Hedin, Okay Hedin, it was so brave and bold move from you. But I have a request, please don't disclose my identity to anyone anymore."

Hedin " I got it, I didn't met Hercules this night. And Thank you very much for saving me back there, I really owe you one. "

Hercules " Oh, It was nothing. Then see you later."

Hercules and Leucos part their ways with Hedin. They went back to their lodge with a satisfied mind. They rested really well until next morning. Decided to continue their journey. On their way, they met Hedin again. He gave both Hercules and Leucos a piece of armor as a thanks. His daughter was also there. Her name was Lumina. They greeted each other. Then both of them continued their journey to Olympus after wearing those new armors they got.
