Planet Odeus.
Three days have passed since the battle in the Küiper asteroid belt.
At this moment, Lin Fan was leading his Adjutant, Chen Xue to wait in the docking area because news just came that the negotiating team had arrived.
Soon, a spaceship docked on the Starport of the Ninety-Fifth Fleet of the Federation Army.
When Ethan saw the person who was walking in front, he can't help but feel familiar.
'Wait, didn't he often see him on TV? Isn't this Evan Rochester?' Ethan thought.
Evan lead four people down the opened hatch, Ethan took his Adjutant to greet him.
"Hello, I am Ethan Kane, the Lt. Commander of the 1st Mixed Fleet of the Ninety-Fifth Battalion, and this is my adjutant Chen Xue".
Ethan stretched out his right hand.
"What are you saying, little mutt? Have you already forgotten who I am after leaving the earth? I even used to spank your little butt when you were small".
Chen Xue's expression on the side twitched slightly, but no one noticed.
'Forgotten after leaving Earth? He's 23 years old right now meaning that this guy is referring to him when he was still pretty young. How can he remember? Didn't he know I'm suffering from short-term memory loss?' Ethan's forehead creased.
"Alright, I'm just kidding. My name is Evan Rochester. I am the leader of the negotiation team. All four of them are my subordinates". He pointed at the four individuals following him.
"However, I indeed spanked you when you were young." He couldn't help but ramble again.
Chen Xue almost broke character when she heard that.
'This uncle's brain is a bit…' Ethan complained inwardly, wiping invisible sweat.
"Uh… well, Uncle Evan!"
"Now you're talking!"
Seeing that Ethan consciously changed how he called him, he nodded in satisfaction.
"Alright, let's not talk about the other things, take me to the Fifth Prince. I need to understand his importance to the Vortans before I can formulate the correct negotiation strategy."
"Okay, Uncle Evan, please come with me!"
Ethan led Evan to the direction of the detention room.
While walking toward the detention room, Evan decided to drop a bombshell.
"Little mutt, your adjutant looks too cold!"
(A/N: Only Evan Rochester could call Ethan "little mutt")
"I know Uncle Evan, I have been trying to fix her character, but it's hard!".
"To deal with this type, talk to her every day."
"En, I'm good at this, I can say new words every day without repeating them…".
Fan suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder.
He turned his head slowly and found Evan Rochester smiling at him, giving him thumbs up. Though his smile has subtle meaning behind it.
"Uncle Evan, I think you misunderstood…"
Chen Xue, who was listening the whole time, had her mouth twitch.
"Needless to say, focus on the task. When I come back, I think we need to have a good chat…"
Lin Fan looked at Evan Rochester with a wry smile.
Sure enough, since he was able to lead the negotiations, he is an old fox. What a headache!
Soon, the three of them came to the detention room.
"This is it. Open the door!" Ethan gestured.
"Okay". Evan responded
The guard in the detention room opened the door for the three of them.
After the three of them walked in, they saw a humanoid being locked in a single room.
Although it was a humanoid creature, there are differences in its appearance from human beings.
It has two red horns on its head that resemble the legendary demon horns and has grey skin that resembles the popular 'grey grey' from popular alien tv shows back on Earth.
Evan is not surprised by Prince Doren's appearance, after all, this is not the first time that humans have seen and mingled with other races.
He walked forward and said.
"Oh? So you are the Fifth Prince of the Vortans?"
"Who are you?"
"Me? My name is Evan Rochester. I will go to your side for negotiations".
"Do you want to use me as a bargaining chip?"
Although Doren failed his performance in the actual battle, he was still very experienced in politics. Moreover, he is part of the Royal Family, he has long been used to this kind of scenario in such an environment. How can he not understand what Evan is going to do?
"Oh, you're pretty smart!"

Ethan carefully explained.

Within the dimly lit chamber of The Order's secret hideout, a figure in a hooded robe rushed to a desk where a shadowy figure is sitting.
"leader, we just received news from our insider on planet Odeus base that the fifth Prince of the Vortans will be used as a bargaining chip by the Federation".
"Who is negotiating for the Federation?" the leader replied unperturbed.
"It's Evan Rochester, and Ethan Kane will be escorting the negotiation team with the prince". The hooded figure answered.
"Hmm...ok, I'll contact Lord Kree for the cause of action to take. Draw an evacuation plan for the Fifth Prince too".
"On it"
"You're dismissed" ordered the shadowy figure.
