Naruto ate at the birthday party he was given, laughing, smiling, and having fun with them.

"Hahaha! Look at your face Naruto. Eat a little slower!" Jiraiya laughed from his seat.

The rest either chuckled, or laughed out loud seeing Naruto eat like a beast.

Naruto merely smiled as he gulped the food inside his throat.

In a few hours, the birthday party was done and Naruto had to say goodbye "Well then, I'll see you guys later."

"Sure! I'll see you later, Naruto!" Sakura and also the rest of his friends nodded, in agreement to Sakura's goodbye.

"Hm? Sure…" Jiraiya replied with a bit of a puzzled face. Why does it seem like Naruto was saying goodbye before taking a long trip.

Naruto smiled as he slowly closed the door.

Thud!

Only Naruto and Haku were left inside the living room, Haku smiled in difficulty as she was sitting down the chair, but as if she knew what Naruto was thinking "You're leaving?"

Naruto was surprised, and asked "How did you know?"

Haku looked down as she replied "I just know… you've been weird the past few days…"

Naruto walked in front of Haku and caressed her face "It's okay. I'll come back, I just don't know for how long. Maybe it'll be a year… maybe even more but I'll come back so wait for me? Okay?"

Haku couldn't hold her tears back anymore, and cried as she hugged Naruto "Umu. I'll wait for you so… take care of yourself, Okay?"

Naruto smiled, feeling the warm feeling from Haku's emotions and caressed the back of her head as she hugged him. "Yes, I will. Take care of yourself too. Be careful when you go on missions, don't take it when you think you'll risk your life to complete it, Don't have mercy on your enemies, and always eat on time."

"*Sniff* Yes…" Haku replied before looking at Naruto from eye to eye.

For the one last time… for now… they kissed then Naruto disappeared from the place he was standing on. Leaving a notebook on the floor. It was titled 'Ice Elemental Sage Mode Manual.'

"Be careful… Naruto…" Haku said as she hugged the notebook that was left behind for her.

Using [Flying Thunder God Jutsu] he teleported to Jiraiya. "Godfather…" His tone was gentle yet solemn, catching the attention of Jiraiya. He didn't even call him Perverted Sage. "What is it? Naruto? I've been feeling like you're saying goodbye or something for awhile now."

Naruto chuckled in reply "As expected of you, Godfather. I am saying goodbye, Something is happening in my body, due to Elemental Sage Mode. I don't know if it's for the good or bad but I'm planning to find out. I will risk it, this will ensure the peaceful life I'm dreaming of if I ever succeed. If I die, please help me take care of Konoha."

Jiraiya looked at Naruto in his eyes seriously and said with a smile "I see… Be careful. Try your best to survive."

"Umu." Naruto nodded and threw a notebook to Jiraiya titled 'Elemental Sage Modes'

Jiraiya received it and nodded before seeing Naruto disappear into place "Your son has grown up splendidly, Minato…"

Sasuke training in the training area…

Naruto suddenly appeared catching his attention, as he looked Naruto in the eye he knew it by instinct and nodded.

Naruto simply smiled and threw him the same book 'Elemental Sage Modes.' then said 

"I know the truth behind Itachi's story. Do you want to hear it?"

Sasuke flinched hearing Naruto's words but replied as he caught the book "Not now, even if I knew, I don't have enough strength to look for Itachi."

Naruto nodded and said "I see, when you do, look for the 3rd Hokage. Tell him I told you about it."

Sasuke just nodded and resumed his training as he kept the book in his ninja bag.

Naruto disappeared once again, he went to Sakura, Shikamaru, and Kakashi. He gave them each a book.

Naruto for the last time floated in the skies as he observed it with a smile. 'I'll see you later, Konoha. But first, I have to take care of that snake.' he thought as felt the chakra of Orochimaru with 4 ninjas beside him.

Looks like he wants to trouble Konoha again.

He can't fight in his condition, he was barely able to hold it in and shout in pain.

He used [Wind Sage Chakra] to fly and head in the direction of Orochimaru.

As he floated in the sky, Orochimaru and his ninjas stopped on their feet as Naruto looked down on them.

Naruto suggested "Orochimaru. Stop craving for the [Sharingan] I know your body is rotting from the looks of it. But Sasuke's body will also rot after a while if you take over his body."

"Kekeke! Who are you to stop me?" Orochimaru mockingly asked

Naruto nodded and replied "I'll give you the way for 'Wind Elemental Sage Mode' in return. Do you want it?"

Orochimaru, shocked at his words, thought 'So that's what it was! I knew it was weird that he's floating in the sky without any related bloodline!'

"Kekeke! What makes you think I'll stop even if you give me that?" Orochimaru taunted.

Naruto didn't reply and in his attack the 4 ninjas beside him with [Condensed Rasengans] containing the penetration power of an S-rank jutsu.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

"Kah!" they all died as their hearts were penetrated in an instant.

Orochimaru was shocked, he didn't even see it! If he fought Naruto he wouldn't even last a few minutes!

Naruto proceeded to ask "I'll even throw in the 'Lightning Elemental Sage Mode'"

He couldn't fight against Orochimaru, his body was screaming in pain just with that much chakra that he used.

Orochimaru contemplated for a bit, but knew Naruto was not killing him because he had some difficulties but the pros in this deal far outweighed the cons, he always craved to use full sage mode, and he was even given elemental ones! so he nodded "Alright. I will stop attacking Konoha."

Naruto nodded and replied "Wise decision." before bringing out a notebook from a scroll in his ninja bag. And writing the way to achieve both, Wind and Lightning Elemental Sage Mode."

Orochimaru caught it as he stored it in his mouth as if afraid someone would steal it.

Naruto asked in interest "You're not gonna check it?"

"Kekeke! You're not dumb enough to trick me." then instantly reverse summoned himself away.

Naruto smiled and proceeded to teleport to Zabuza using [Flying Thunder God Jutsu]

He told him about his circumstances and asked Zabuza to visit Haku from time to time which he agreed and asked to be careful.

He floated in the skies, before saying "Sorry Kurama, I can't release you yet, If I die I can't guarantee you won't attack Konoha."

"Hahahah! If you die, no one else in this world can live! With your obsession with strength, you won't die even if I wanted you to!" Kurama smirked as he laughed uncontrollably.

Naruto just smiled and teleported into the location, his clone prepared for him.

He was inside a cave in a faraway land that no one lives.

He immediately sat cross legged and went into 5 elemental sage mode.

"Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaa!!" He screamed in pain as if he was being tortured in the most inhuman way possible.

He gritted his teeth in pain! He felt like he was burned, crushed, swept in a huge wave, electrified, cut all over his body.

To cope with the pain he started smashing the walls in the cave causing it to crack.

1 hour… it was still ongoing…

4 hours… 20 hours…

2 days… 7 days…

4 weeks… it was enough to drive a normal person insane but he gritted his teeth in endurance! The pain was intensifying more and more! He almost lost consciousness a hundred times in the past month!

He would be awoken by Kurama's laugh as he endured the pain, he didn't know if it was unintentional or intentional but he was thankful either way.

3 months have passed…

He was getting used to the pain but that doesn't mean the pain has lessened in return it became more painful.

6 months…

1 year…

The pain was getting bearable as if the body had finished its transformation and was getting used to it.

2 years have passed… 

Inside a cave, a young man with a mix of blond and dark hair sat in a cross-legged position, a contented smile gracing his face. 

'It's finally done…'

With a sense of accomplishment, he opened his eyes, revealing pupils as blue as the sky, his long blond hair gently swaying in the direction of the wind. 

The cave around him bore signs of destruction, a gap right through its center.
