The group made their way home a week later. They had stayed after the boys were released from the hospital in order to get some rest. They decided it was time to get back, and Bohai and Yongliang rented a couple vans. It was probably best to drive at this point.
"You finally listened to me," Xiaosi said with his arms crossed as he followed Bohai to the car. "I've been saying over and over again that we need to drive! But no, you wanted to spend three weeks hiking in the woods."
"Xiaosi," Bohai said, looking at his fiance with raised eyebrows. "Do you really think that if we drove, we would have found Chonglin and Xiumin."
"We could've…." Xiaosi said, but Bohai shook his head.
"I don't think so. We needed the help of Amber. And if she's not out in nature, she can't pick up their scent," Bohai told him. "If we didn't walk like we did, we wouldn't have found them. And if we didn't find them… They might not have survived…"
