20. Lets Go Home

Everett and Yongliang started training long hours every day, getting back on schedule. Everett's strength in his legs were practically back at this point. They've been spending a month with consistent training, and Everett felt wonderful. He didn't have to use his cane anymore, and his speed was picking up. It felt freeing to start doing the old moves he used to pull off before his injury. And he could tell Yongliang was proud of him.

Despite the dark and rainy day, Everett still insisted on training. He had a feeling something would come up sooner or later, and he wanted to be ready. He didn't want to be weak. He didn't want to fall into the dragon's trap once again. He wanted to be strong enough so he could stand a chance against him. This time he wanted to succeed in protecting his friends.

"Everett," Yongliang said after a few hours of training, stopping and catching his breath. "We should go in. It's really cold out and we are drenched."
