The Woman in the Woods
In the darkness of the woods, a groaning figure painfully crawled, dragging her mutilated body among the roots and stones. Blood flowed in long streams from the stumps that were once her arms, leaving a dark trail on the ground covered with dead leaves. Every movement was a torment; every stone that met her scraped chin elicited a muffled cry from her lips. Her torn clothes mingled with mud, dirt, and blood, while her desperate moans echoed faintly in the twilight sky.
