CHAPTER 31

LILY'S POV

It was night when I had gotten far into the mountains.

The trees that stood on the mountains casting dark shadows to the already dark place, causing me to be terrified by them.

My chestnut coloured hair swoosh through the air, some strands getting into my mouth and others behind me, reminding me that I had forgotten to tie it up.

I quickly tied my hair in a ponytail. The wind blew at the clothes I wore causing them to stick to my body from the force.

I held myself from being blown off. The hooting of owls and flapping of wings filled my ears. I gulped. This place is indeed scarier than I thought.

Then everything turned eerily quiet, I could only hear my heartbeat for a while, still I moved further, shuffling my feet against the sand.

It had never been easy to get to this place but I had to keep moving or I might never get the answers to my questions.
