The Death Of The Chief Monk
Monk Manuki picked up the blade from the floor and move forward to stab Tashina who was lying on the ground in pain but a kick from someone pushed him to the side.
Tashina rolled over to see Sera standing in front of her despite her injured leg.
"I will not let you kill any more of my friends. Not again," she hissed as she clenched her fists.
Monk Manuki regained his balance and positioned his glare at his niece who was glaring at him with the same amount of hatred.
"Tashina, are you okay?" Sera bent down to check on Tashina.
"I'm-" that was when Tashina noticed Monk Manuki taking this opportunity to move forward with the knife in his hand.
Tashina did the first thing that came to her mind and that was pushing Sera out of the way as she got up, about to take the full impact of the blade on her.
With gritted teeth and closed eyes, she was ready to embrace the sharp pain that was to come after, only for her to be left bare and untouched.
