"Look over at that chief there!!" Chief Keef pointed at Chief Jaune who was seated at a corner with a hollow face.
He looked like he could barely sit straight, with the dark circles prominent underneath his eyes and his face looking rough.
"He appears to be perfectly fine but inside his head, he is counting the clock to when he can see his youngest son running towards him again!!"
"His heart is unsettled as he doesn't know when the nurses are going to look him in the eye and give the dreadful news!!"
"His son is fighting for his life at the moment as we speak and none of us know what his fate would be after today!!"
"If you can't think of these parents or the young lives that have been taken brutally, then you should at least maintain courtesy with me as your elder, young female!!" Chief Keef hissed at the Queen.
Tashina turned her face away without saying anything. The guilt inside her was growing now and she felt speechless.
