"You can do this," Reffi held Tashina's hand.
"I can do this," Tashina repeated with a smile.
"Aunt Madia would be so proud of you today," Reffi said before she let go of Tashina's hand to go into the hall through the side door.
Now Tashina was left alone in the hall and she took in deep breaths so she could breathe steadily.
"I can do this, I can do this," she kept on chanting both in her head and out loud so she could actually believe it,
That she actually could do it.
She tried not to take her mind back to Xavier because she feared she might opt out of this ceremony to find him.
She took a last deep breath that inflated in her chest and raised her chin before she sucked in her stomach to straighten her back, just like she was taught in the few lessons she attended.
Her jade-green eyes stayed fixed to the double doors in determination before she breathed out air again.
