The galloping of the horses died down when they neared their location. With a hold of his fist in the air, the troops all stopped after their Alpha's command.
He used his hands to make a signal for a certain number of soldiers to go round and stand at the back until they all surrounded the warehouse.
The goal was to make things as quiet as possible so they won't alarm whoever was in the warehouse, be it Kenzar or the monsters.
"How do you know where to find us?" Xavier asked quietly as he turned to look at Tashina who was dressed in a full battle outfit.
"I questioned my ex-fiance and he was compelled to tell us the truth," She said as she held on to the reigns on the horse.
"I didn't want you to fight this battle on your own, which was why I left immediately to join you," she said.
"You never listen, do you?" He said softly as he cast a glance over at her beautiful face which was glistening under the sun.
