When Tashina woke up, she found herself being moved down a hall. Her eyes were half-opened but she could feel her weight being carried by someone.
She looked up to see the sharp jaw of Kenzar as his eyes were looking forward.
She wanted to protest for him to put her down but she couldn't, as she was feeling weak and numb at every inch of her body.
The dose of the pills they used on her was too much for her body to recover from yet which was why she sank back into another deep slumber.
The next time she opened her eyes, she found herself on a bed with oddly soft sheets, and her eyes were stuck at the plain ceiling above her.
She felt a stroke on her hair which made her jolt up slightly only for her to turn to see Kenzar staring down at her lovingly as he gently brushed her hair.
She pushed away from him and tried to get up when she felt an ache at the side of her head.
