"Aren't you going to sit next to your mother, dear?" Eveane asked.
Ren stopped in his tracks as he looked between his wife and his mother uncertainly.
"Uh, but Mom, I always sit next to Chivia-"
"That was when I wasn't around, no? Now that I'm here, I would love to have you sit with me," Eveane said earnestly.
"Or do you mind, Chivia darling?" She raised a dainty eyebrow at her daughter-in-law.
"D-Definitely now, Eveane. Ren, you can go sit next to your mother," Chivia shook her head.
"But babe," Ren whined because he always ate next to his wife.
"Please, it's okay, just go," Chivia begged silently because she didn't want to get in further trouble with his mother.
"For me? Please, you know I love you," she murmured with a small smile.
"Whatever," he huffed and pushed the chair back as he stomped towards his mother to sit next to her with a pout on his face.
