CHAPTER.4

Rose and Zelda stoop over Link's corpse. The night stood still, not a noise. Zelda shiverd in the cold, rose stood still and unaffected as if she was a ghost.

"I not sure if this would work," Rose said to Zelda

"Please" Zelda held Rose's hand

"I'm sorry"

"What?" Zelda looked at Rose

Rose unveiled a small knife from behind her back. She gripped Zelda's hand even more.

"What are you doing?" Zelda asked anxiously

"Sorry"

Rose threw the knife at Zelda before she could react. The knife slipped through Zelda's neck, completely shattering her vocal cords. Blood dripped down from her neck onto her hands. Zelda's eyes grew wide open in complete fear for her life. Zelda fell backward to the ground and hopelessly attempted to stop the bleeding from her neck. She tried to speak to Rose, but just blood would come from her mouth.

"I'm so sorry," Rose told Zelda

Tears fan down Zelda's eyes, confused about what to do.

"Follow these instructions and whatever you do, DO NOT LEAVE PAYA ALONE WITH YOU!"

Zelda slowly nodded at those instructions.

Rose pulled the bloodied knife out of Zelda's neck. Blood kept pouring out of her neck as much as Zelda tried to stop it.

Rose grabbed Zelda's left arm and started to carve those exact instructions into her arm. Zelda tried to scream in pain. But only blood came out of her mouth. once Rose completely carved in those instructions. She kissed Zelda on the forehead. Zelda was completely covered in blood.

The instructions written on Zelda's arm said "Behind the clothing shop, G S STAR"

Zelda looked down at her arm in confusion

"Listen, Zelda, you will be revived to 72 hours ago in a different timeline"

Zelda looked confused at her

"I know you don't understand me, basically you will replace yourself in an alternate reality that is 72 hours before ours, if you are not careful these same events will happen"

"I'm sorry Zelda, but I traded the rest of my life for you"

"Goodbye Zelda,"

Rose curled up in a ball in Zelda's grasp, hugging her one last time. Zelda began to cry profusely, hugging Rose one last time.

Zelda's vision became blurred and distorted, Zelda closed her eyes but never opened them.

"Why am I here?" was all she thought

She finally exhaled one last time. And stayed still.

Rose stood up from her corpse and slowly faded away with the air. Into nothingness. She is gone.

The last drop of blood dripped out of Zelda's neck, the night stayed still.

BAM!

A cold rush of air entered the room. Zelda woke up in a cold rush gasping for air. She looked around where she was. She felt the cold air of the night hit her. She looked around.

She was in Gerudo town, more specifically the princess's bedroom.

The bedroom was dimly lit all around. Zelda looked around. Beer bottles and sex toys were scattered all around the bedroom. A raging headache hit her head.

She curled up in complete agony, her eyes were red with pain, and she felt completely dizzy and nauseous with a need for water.

"What the hell am I doing in a bed?, why am I naked?"

She couldn't think straight, a thousand thoughts ran through her mind. she felt an itch on her left arm. She drunkenly opened her eyes, to see those same markings of the instructions.

She tried scratching it but at the contact, a thousand memories flooded her mind.

She remembered everything, the murders the bodies. Paya and Rose all of it.

The realization of what happened hit her, she felt guilt and sadness. She remembered link.

Somebody rose behind her on one side of the bed and grabbed her from behind pulling her back to the bed.

"Zelda?" a voice said next to her

She looked next to her and it was link.

Tears ran down her face, she jumped to link crying remembering how he died

"LINK!"

Link stood up from the bed.

"What?" he stretches his arms around Zelda, falling back down to the bed holding Zelda. Link buried Zelda into the silky warm bed sheets with him. They both grabbed each other, holding each other in comfort. Zelda felt a warm sense in her heart appear a light that had been extinguished by her captive. Love. She felt love, love in her mind, in her body, in her soul. She felt what it meant to be happy again, she felt love.

She hugged Link tightly, they went under the ned sheets of the bed. They felt each other's bodies, feeling every crevice of each other as if a new side of them had been awakened. They curled up together under the cold night sky. They warmed each other's bodies up, keeping them warm/ they finally rose from under the silk sheets, together they looked up under the starry skies, something the princess had ever even seen from the castle. The stars littered the sky, decorating and lighting up every part of the sky. This brought tears of joy to Zelda's eyes, and all of her sadness faded away. She wiped the tears away and turned to Link.

"I love you"

"I love you too" Link responded.

They both passionately kissed each other, and looked up at the starry sky, stargazing in the cold Gerudo desert.
