Tyler remained looking at her while he sang those lines. He was… quite satisfied with her reactions. He smirked at her when he saw her cheeks turned into pink even though there was an orange light reflection. Lanie cleared her throat then, she slowly smiled like an idiot like there was something in her mind… that there was something she would like to do.
His hunched was right when Lanie sat on the arm of the couch. He was curious at what she would do this time so he faced his full body on her and made an indian seat while he put his right elbow on the back of the couch. He closed his fist and made his temple lean on it, readying himself to watch whatever silly things Lanie will do.
Tyler raised his brow when Lanie got the remote and started to rewind the movie then she stopped at the scene where Flynn was holding the two lanterns. She stood up and got the scented two candles above the table and placed it in front of Tyler. She signaled to wait for her as she went to the kitchen to look for a lighter. Tyler shook his head with a smirk on his lips. He thought he finally knew what she wanted to do.
Lanie went back and lit the candles. She returned to her seat, at the arm of the couch. Between them were the two scented candles.
"You knew that scene, right? Let's do that!" she said excitedly. "I want to do that starting from that scene," she continued. Tyler opened his mouth, wanted to say something, but he closed it again. He sighed before nodding. Okay, kitten, let's do what you want tonight.
"Okay! I'll play it again!" she announced then clicked play. She cleared her throat and looked at Tyler.
"I have something for you, too." Lanie spoke together with Rapunzel. Tyler restrained himself from laughing. Lanie was trying her best to act, she was feeling it. She was really feeling it like she was in the theater. He bit his lower lip when Lanie showed his blanket that was already folded. Playfulness appeared in his eyes as she looked at her.
"I should have given it to you before but I was just scared." Tyler smirked when Lanie was already into this. Damn. What was this situation he let himself enter? "and the thing is…" she said mimicking the voice and moves of Rapunzel. Tyler licked his lips and brushed his hair. Now, he was actually enjoying this.
"I'm not scared anymore. You know what I mean?" She continued acting. She, now, was enjoying what she was doing.
Tyler reached the blanket on her hand and slowly put it down on Lanie's thighs. "I'm starting to…" he said seriously with... sincerity as he looked at her. Playfulness was still etched in his eyes but Lanie saw something flashed in his eyes… a gentle look that faded when she blinked. But she already forgot that immediately when Tyler began to sing. The moment he sang those lyrics again made Lanie forget that this was just an act. The way Tyler sang every word, she could feel the emotions that the song was trying to convey. She smiled, that was not what she was supposed to do but she couldn't help it.
"I'm where I meant to go…" but then, her smile faded when Tyler held her hand as he sang that line. Lanie suddenly couldn't think of anything right now. Her heart beats wildly as she watches Tyler do that. She felt like everything stopped and the only thing she saw was Tyler.
"And at last I see the light…" Tyler continued to sing. This was the part when she and him would sing together but her mind went black as she drowned herself in Tyler's eyes that was now so gentle and full of… love.
"And it's warm and real and… bright…" she sang slowly in a soft voice that became the second voice instead. She sang that while intensely looking at his eyes. She didn't know what her eyes were saying or showing right now but one thing is for sure… she was tangled.
Tyler finished the song. He tilted his head when he saw Lanie looking at him in daze. When Tyler chucked, she quickly looked away and bit her lower lip. Tyler's eyes followed that.
"Look like you enjoyed it, huh? You were so into it when we did that scene." he said, smirking. Lanie nodded and smiled at him. 'That was really wonderful…' she said in her mind.
She was about to blow the candles when she noticed that Tyler was still holding her right hand. She looked at him and raised her brow. Tyler smiled at her innocently. This man!
She tried to pull her hand but he held it more, like he didn't want her little hand to slip away from his big hand.
"There was something we forgot to do. We didn't do that part." he said. Lanie looked at him clueless.
"What part? We did all the parts. In fact, we nailed it." she answered. Tyler shook his head then, he looked at her seriously. Lanie's brow furrowed. She tilted her head, playing the scene again in her mind. What part did they forget to do? Is there any part they forgot to do? Was she that too amazed watching him sing that she forgot something in that scene? Really? She forgot something about her favorite scene in that movie?
As soon as she looked at Tyler to ask what part it was, Tyler pulled her closer to him, making her kneeled between him. The candles were now on the table. She was so surprised that the last thing she knew was a soft kiss was already planted on her lips.
"This. You forgot this scene, baby." he said huskily after he broke the kiss. Their faces were so near to each other that their noses touched its tips. Lanie began to breathe heavily. As her heart beats abnormally she could also feel something in her stomach… it was like something was tickling her stomach.
When she was about to move away, Tyler grabbed her nape and kissed her again but this time, it was not soft like the first one but it was now deep and hungry kisses.
