Chapter 16- Results and Arrival of a Terrible Enemy

Three months later.

A young man in a white cultivator-style outfit was sitting meditating on the future and the like, until he tilts his head to the side as if stretching and a small blade passes where his head was.

The Younger then says towards a bush behind him.

"Your aim has improved, Mantis."

The Young Man in White we now know to be Zagreus, still keeping his eyes closed, stands up and swipes a heavy-looking black staff aside with the palm of his hand.

"Monkey, you need to put more force into the blow, and disguise your intent, I can feel it from a distance."

Monkey doesn't stop and again tries to attack Zagreus from the side, and Mantis who was far away throws a small blade towards Zagreus' chest.

The Dragon Warrior uses the Staff that was about to hit him as a shield for the blade and head-butts Monkey knocking him out of combat.

Tigress and Viper who had not yet appeared attack him from different directions, Tigress wore a golden kimono with black details, on his hands were gloves with iron claws on the tips of her fingers, and attacked Zagreus from above pointing at his face.

Viper wore a short sword similar to a Katana, a Tanto, and slashed from below from the side.

The two women were moving at absurd speeds and anyone looking in from the outside would see nothing more than an illusory image of them moving.

And at that moment, Zagreus decides to take their fight a little more seriously, he opens his eyes and uses the Skill [Seikuken], the Dragon Warrior decreases his reaction time to a thin layer around the skin and at the last second dodges the blows.

He stomps on Viper's hand hard and disarms it and holds Tigress's claw-shaped arm towards her face and throws his body against Viper in a move similar to Jujitsu.

"All of you are getting better, this time you even managed to hurt me."

Zagreus said with a gleeful smile, as he noticed his wounds that were from Viper's sword cut on his leg and Claw on his arm when he threw Tigress, his palms sore and red from the force behind the stick blow of Monkey.

"Mantis, you're just so much better at aiming, I'd say better than I already, where's Crane? Still fetching water?"

"He said it would take a while as he would go to the Palace to get some food that is already running out."

Mantis answers Zagreus' question quickly.

All the Furious Five had evolved a lot within those three months, they had come together as friends and Master, they all respected Zagreus as their leader and Master Teacher.

Zagreus with a smile proud of all their progress uses his skill [Eye of the Wise], and the stats of everyone there appear.

Zagreus, who had known her for some time, noticed Viper's many changes, mainly in her clothes that are now green with black accents, but what changed most about Viper was that she accepted her disturbed past due to her father and her fear of killing someone with her poison, she had achieved Inner Peace and decided one day to visit her father and put an end to this story.

The Dragon Warrior identified with Viper in the matter of problems with his father, he had already decided that he would no longer be angry with him and would try to find out first what happened and then decide what to do.

Mantis had no drastic changes other than the increase in his knowledge and new techniques that Zagreus taught him, he was the first of the Furious Five to learn and perform the Skill [Seikuken].

That in fact, Mantis had already reached a mind in which Inner Peace was, on a mission to retrieve wool coats from a 'crocodile bandit gang', he was captured due to his overconfidence and lack of listening skills when one of the villagers tried to warn him about the bandits' traps.

Mantis was locked in a cage for days and forced to sit and wait for something to happen. Due to this event, Mantis developed a more patient and calm mind for life, which made it much easier to learn what Zagreus would teach him.

Tigress was able to easily learn the Skill [Seikuken] due to her mentality, Zagreus preferred to give her this hidden ninja-style weapon as it perfectly matched her fighting style which involved striking with her claw-shaped hand, she was undoubtedly the stronger after him, even though they're all on their own plateaus.

Zagreus who had become the dignified Master Teacher, had not stopped training, quite the contrary, because he was training his teammates, he improved his own strengths and diminished his weaknesses, he was training the skills he already had, why did he I didn't want to be a jack of all trades and master of nothing, but with Cheat [The Strongest Disciple] he doesn't have to worry about not learning when it comes to Martial Arts.

Kingdom of Spirits, A few days ago.

In this place where bits of land and ancient Chinese-style structures floated through empty space, in this place the laws didn't exist in the same way as the land of mortals.

People in this place couldn't die and apparently gravity was lighter and the whole place itself was empty, like it was a blank space that was filled in the wrong way.

On a piece of land that floated there, Grand Master Professor Oogway, who had left a mark on Kung Fu history while alive, rested in a meditative position with his eyes closed as he rested a new Staff made of Chi.

He was focused on his meditation and always repeated it.

"Inner Peace, Inner Peace...."

But his meditation was interrupted by a green blade with chains on his guard.

"What is it now?"

Says Oogway while making no effort to the green blade at the last moment, he opens his eyes and sees another twin blade the green sword that has been thrown at him, he then comes out of his meditation position and with the Staff he throws the green blade at him. another coming towards him.

Oogway sees a familiar figure on the horizon, recognizes him and finally tells the man.

"Kai, Old Friend."

The Man Oogway Will Called Friend had giant yak horns, bright green medallions rested on his waist, he says with a lot of irritation in his voice.

"Master Oogway."

"Our battle has already ended 500 years ago." Oogway tells him.

"And now, I'm ready for a rematch." Kai answers with seriousness in his voice, he was about to face one of the strongest and most flexible Masters in fighting styles.

"It took a while, Hahaha."

The Bull-Man screams as he runs towards Master Oogway, he jumps with all his strength to be launched as if he were flying to Oogway, a feat that is only possible because they are in the Spirit Realm.

Still gliding due to gravity or lack thereof towards the Oogway, Kai throws both swords at Master Oogway, one with a kick and the other being thrown with his right arm taking advantage of the spin he gave to throw the first sword.

Master Oogway jumps, and dodges Kai's swords.

"You got stronger."

Says Oogway Now Floating Above If Kai, Oogway uses a [Chi Manipulation] technique to draw in the air a Chinese letter meaning Stop. (It took me 30 minutes to find out what he had written, and I'm not even sure, that's the meaning that makes the most sense, if anyone knows please tell me, Chinese is complicated.)

Chi's Chinese letter hits falls and he kneels and gasps as if he were lifting a great weight, he takes a deep breath and responds to Master Oogway.

"500 years in the Spirit Realm, you pick-up a thing or two."

"I have taken the Chi of every Master here."

"It can not be." Says Oogway sadly.

"Yes, and soon I'll get hold of your Chi too." Says Kai in response to Oogway.

"When will you understand? The more you take, the less you will have."

In response to Oogway's speech, Kai runs and throws both blades into the large floating rocks above him and pulls himself toward Oogway again.

Master Oogway doesn't stand still either and quickly draws a giant Yin and Yang shaped symbol made of Chi, and launches it towards the Bull-Man.

Kai pulls the chains attached to the swords and because the blades are attached to the giant stones, they are pulled together and with a display of immense strength, Kai uses the large stones to hit the Yin and Yang symbol that Oogway made and defend himself at the same time.

The two giant stones hit Oogway and leave him disoriented, when Oogway realizes what is happening, chains wrap around his body and disarm him, he is pulled towards Kai as he says.

"With your Chi, I can finally return to the Realm of Mortals, and this time, you won't be there to stop me."

Kai proudly says of his victory over his hated foe, and Oogway still calm and resigned to his own fate, says.

"It was never my destiny to stop

you, somebody else will."

Oogway is then consumed by the green light that gradually transforms his body into Jade, Kai grabs the medallion made of Chi with the turtle design and says.

"Then I'll find him and get his Chi too."

With the right hand in which the medallion containing Master Oogway's Chi was found, he hits the ground and a circle of sickly green color surrounds him and he disappears from that place.
