After leaving the mall, Ono brought Shouko to the waterfront park.
It was good to enjoy the sun and the wind.
In the last three months, Shouko could count with only a hand how many times she went for an outing. She spent most of her time in the mansion, either in her or Little Riceball's room or the backyard where Little Riceball loved playing with his ball and remote controlled-airplane.
Her life revolved around the memories of her departed child.
Kyoya always persuaded her to go outside, either to their favorite waterfront park or any other new places but she refused almost all of them. Because of her constant refusal, for every time she agreed to go out with him, Kyoya would always ensure it would be a happy and blissful time. Yet, the smiles he received from her were only the forced ones.
Soreness spread in her entire heart as Shouko thought of her insensitive actions toward the man who sincerely loved and cared for her.
