Fu Jie chuckled at his own joke that lacked humor, "But I wasn't lying about your beauty though. Even though I can't see your face, your charms cannot be hidden from my eyes."
It was somewhat the same line that the woman who had dragged him here had said to him.
The girl sneered, "You really want me to send you to hell, don't you?"
She raised her sword and without hesitation, struck it down.
Fu Jie's eyes went wide as he ducked his head and stepped away, managing to save himself by merely a few seconds.
He couldn't help but curse, "What the hell?!"
He really hadn't expected her to be this aggressive.
"Hey! Let's talk this out!" Fu Jie cried out as he once again ducked to avoid the sword that was aimed at him for the second time.
The girl's lips curled up in a contemptuous smirk as she asked, "Why were you following me?"
