ECLIPSE WARDENS II
One of the Dark Beings standing at the forefront of the uncanny group stepped away from the group and rose to the air a bit as if to put himself on a higher ground than that of the rest.
"Rise," The Dark Being said, and they all rose to their feet.
From where Alex was, he sensed that there was immense power within the voice of the Dark Being that just spoke. Power that he had never felt from another person before. His body shivered and his palms became sweaty.
['Indeed, this Dark Being's true realm is quite high. If not for the restriction placed on them, Alex, you might have been severely injured by his words alone.'] Lex said gently, as if he wasn't worried or as if what he just said was something normal.
Alex nodded his head and agreed with Lex. Just from the way his body was reacting, he felt overwhelmed, but not enough to run away.
