CHAPTER 20

　　Luca

　　"Ashley?"

　　"Of course baby. Were you expecting someone else?"

　　"What the hell are you doing here?"

　　I was stunned. I never thought I would see her again, let alone in my office. I guess I should have known better.

　　"Awww what's wrong, not happy to see me?" she said walking over to me trying to be seductive, her heels clicking with every step.

　　"You're avoiding the question, why are you here?" I demanded.

　　"I came to see you of course. I realized I made a mistake rejecting you so quickly, you're my mate after all. I can't be without you. We were made for each other."

　　I couldn't help but burst out laughing.

　　"That's bullshit and you know it. Look, you rejected me, I accepted. There is nothing more to talk about. You made it clear you didn't want me. As a matter of fact I should thank you. You did me one hell of a favor," I said honestly.

　　Apparently she wasn't thrilled with my response. She was getting angry and wasn't bothering to hide it.
