CHAPTER 19

　　Luca

　　I woke up with Maxine wrapped in my arms. She looked so beautiful and content with her hair draped over the pillow. She was clinging to me with her legs tangled with mine as she slept. If only we could stay this way forever my life would be complete.

　　I didn't want to move just in case I woke her. About an hour passed before she began to stir. "Good morning beautiful," I said gazing into her eyes, smiling.

　　"Good morning handsome," she said, kissing my cheek and returning the smile. "Mind if I go take a shower?" she said stretching and getting out of bed. Damn she was sexy.

　　"That depends. Can I join you?" I asked teasingly. She blushed and threw a pillow at me which I caught grinning.

　　"Is that a yes?" I asked playfully.

　　"In your dreams lover boy," she said, closing the door.

　　"Always," I said knowing she could still hear me.

　　I smiled to myself. I knew she was innocent and it only made teasing her more fun.
