The interview

ELLA's POV

Ella was sitting and waiting for her husband in the dining room, though she was surprised when he asked her well being. maybe he's not bad than she thought.

After some minutes of waiting for the cold husband of mine and boom here he's coming, putting on a pajamas that fitted him perfectly. And yeah he's looking hot but with his handsome cold face as usual.

He walked to the dining room and got his butt seated opposite side, facing me.

The food was served than we started eating silently stealing glance at each other. crazy right?, Yeah it is. I guess this is the awkward moment I ever experienced in my life.

I was kinda not comfortable so I decided to say something but what do I say?. I don't know actually, but maybe I can just say something right?. I thought.

"Umm, we don't need to act like a stranger right?. after all, we've met once, though was accidentally. Maybe we can choose to become friends or enemies. So tell me, how do you want it?. Trust me am in." I finally said, pausing the spoon of food I was about to shove in my mouth, that almost got him choked on what he was eating.

"You can't be serious right now. Enemies or friends?. you're crazy." Richard said coldly.

"Yeah at least we have to be something in one of this two, enemies or friends." I said again and smiled lightly.

"Well, we can't be friends neither we can be enemies, I'll just take you as a housemate that needed a help." He said rudely.

"Well you're nothing near someone I can makes friends with nor even worth to be my enemies, just doing this for Mr Wilson sake." I said back annoyingly which got him looked up at me, fuming like he was gonna tear me down in pieces.

"You're crazy, I don't even know why father have to choose you crazy for me." Richard said angrily as he stood up in anger and left the dining.

I wasn't bothered or moved by his actions because if he knows what I plan to do with him, maybe he's gonna run away from home.

I finished eating my plate of foods, while two maids came to pack the plates. The other maid with short hair glare at me, I remembered she was kinda like that earlier when I arrived.

"Hey what's with that look." I said as I raised my brow questioning 🤨.

The other girl packed some of the plates and left leaving me with that girl.

"Well, nothing impressive to look at your face. is just that I know you're just happened to be an arranged wife, haha but honestly he can't like a girl like you that looks like a prostitute. You think he's gonna be moved by your pretty face or maybe sexy figures?, come on stop dreaming you're not even that good, talk less of being good to his taste." The girl said with hatred and the expression of being jealous.

"Wow that's a nice speech, never knew a maid is crushing on her boss. Haha that's so ridiculous. Did he even know about it?, or I should help you out, maybe letting him know is a good idea you know?." I said smiling crazily.

"You bitch, if you dare try that, I'll kill you." She said angrily.

"Haha you're scared? Now listen young lady, I'll advice you to stop poking nose on any of my matter with my husband and I'll forgive your rude attitude today but beware next time or you'll be sacked." I said softly but rudely.

"You're not boss here as far boss never even introduced you to be his wife so stop dreaming." The girl said angrily.

"I wanna be nice but don't make me cause the reason of you getting sack here okay?. And take it easy, he can never be yours." I said as I stood up and pat her back, leaving her to my room at the spot she was standing.

I got inside thinking how I'm acting crazy even though I don't want to or used to be rude, but I need to do that to fulfill my promise. And about that maid, who is she?, was she sent here?, and how come Richard didn't notice this girl to be a bad egg in his house?. So many questions in my head right now. Whatever not like I care.

"Gosh I have an interview tomorrow morning, need to wake up on time." I thought as I laid down on the bed and closed my eyes to sleep. then I drifted to sleep.

RICHARD

"God I'm tryna be cool and nice to her but she's just too crazy to handle." Richard thought as he got into his room still angry with Ella.

"Tomorrow will be a long day, I have to interview the picked applicants tomorrow. Need to sleep now." I thought then walked to the bed and laid my back before turning in a sleeping side position. I closed my eyes to sleep then flaked out.

THE NEXT MORNING

POV'

"grrrrr, grrrr, grrrrr." The alarm clock ⏰ ranging continuously.

"Gosh-darn, ugh." Ella said from her sleep as she stood up lazily from the bed.

"Oh my gosh. wtf I'm almost late." Ella almost screamed as she checked the time, it was 6:30.

"Oh no." She said roughing her hair and ran to the bathroom.

After she was done in the bathroom. She quickly walked to her closet drying her hair, than rubbed her body lotion, putting on a lady office suit and combed her long hair down to her waist.

"This is so bad, late to an interview is bad impression." Ella thought as she was done dressing up and looking nice.

She carried her handbag and rushed downstairs to the garage.

She met guards that are looking after the mansion as the security, while she walked to one of them.

"Excuse me, please I have a very important interview to attend and I'm so late right now, could one of you drive me to the bus stop?. Please." She said in hurry while one of the guards nodded politely after they greeted her.

"Alright, I'll take you ma'am." One of them said and lead her to a sport Benz car. He opened the door for her to hopped in and drove her to the bus stop since she insisted to get dropped at the bus stop.

She alighted from the car when they reached the bus stop, while she rushed to a taxi and boarded the taxi to the company where to get interviewed.

"Thank you." She uttered to the driver and paid, then rushed to the building. She took the elevator to the floor where to get interviewed and walked down to where she saw three ladies sitting and waiting for their turn.

She greeted them but none of them replied or acted like they saw her but she careless as she sat down, while two girls murmuring to each other.

"Oh my gosh, I can't just wait to see his cute face. I heard the CEO of this company is the Handsome Wilson the heir of the popular Wilson family we all know and normally watch on the news and internet." One of the girls said, while Ella just rolled her eyes annoyingly.

"Wow I can't wait to see him in person, I pray to be his secretary and get to see his face all time, he is so handsome and hot. Swears he's my taste." The other girl with blonde hair said smiling which got Ella scoffed and chuckled almost loudly to be heard by the girls.

The girls looked at their side where the voice came from, with the expression of what's wrong with her looks.

"Wow I just noticed that she's pretty, I bet she looks good than us." The first girl said almost loudly that could be heard, while Ella cough like she's choked when she heard what the first girl said.

"Not like she'll win the CEO's heart." The other girl with blonde hair, said and scoffed annoyingly like she's jealous.

Just as the first girl was about to talk then a guy walked out of the CEO office and walked to them.

He was about to speak when he saw Ella's face and gasped.

"Ma'am." He said surprised to see her among the girls. The girls looked at each other and back to the man, but he wasn't looking at them but someone else. They traced his gaze then happened to be the Ella he was looking at.

"Umm sorry excuse me." He said and walked back to his boss office.

Now the three lady sitting down, all eyes were on Ella with the eyes who is she for the man to acted that way.

"Umm excuse me, do you by chance know that man?." The other lady among the three of the ladies who had been quite the whole time asked Ella.

"Oh, you mean me?….umm well not really." Ella replied nervously not comfortable with the looks the three were giving her.

Then the man walked out again with a lady maybe she was interviewed looking sad though, shows she's not qualified for the job.

The man walked to them and smiled.

"Hi I'm Kenneth Green, a personal assistant to the CEO and I'm so sorry for my behavior earlier, well among the three of you, two will be selected while two will be out." Ken the PA said smiling while the girls nodded. That girl with her blonde hair from earlier who was kinda jealous of Ella's pretty face looked back to Ella and gave her a hard glare, which of course Ella careless. Then Kenneth the PA continued.

"Umm Miss Ella please you can go in for your interview." He said politely while Ella nodded politely and stood up as she walked out on them to the CEO's office.

"Umm excuse me, but you said two ladies will be selected but you only chose her." The blonde hair girl from earlier said again.

"Yeah and I'm so sorry, you too will have to leave while I'll politely choose this miss." Kenneth said smiling politely as he pointed at the third lady who had been quiet all since, she was the lady who asked Ella if she knew the P.A Kenneth Green.

"Wtf." The two girls said at the same time. They stood up angrily and walked away before Kenneth could say anything else.

"Thank you." The third lady that was chosen said sharply and smiled a little.

"You're welcome, please wait here until your turn." Kenneth said and walked away.
