"Elizabeth, we are ready!"
I took a quick glance at the door before laughing loudly. I asked them to come to accompany me towards the marketplace. I was planning to cut my hair mid-length. As well as seeing the state of the people selling products and services in that area.
I am wearing a white floral dress, pairing it up with strappy sandals. My hair was tied up into a high ponytail, leaving no hair on my face.
"Let's go," I ordered as we start to walk downstairs, passing by the large paintings that are gracefully hanged on the wall.
"Auntie Mierda, good morning." I bowed my head and kissed her cheeks lightly.
"What got you here, Elizabeth?" She smiled and guided me inside her small shop.
"I came here to get a haircut, Auntie."
"Oh, come inside, sweetheart. We don't want a princess waiting, aren't we?" I shake my head and giggle at what she said.
We went inside her small shop. The white painted walls were perfect in my eyes. It was light and easy to see. Colors… I have always been fascinated with it. And It's a good thing that I know how the color feels. I know that some things needed more than one color.
"Your highness, sit here." Auntie Mierda's sweet voice echoed through my ears. I snapped out of my dreamy reverie to go back and face reality.
I nodded and smiled. I slowly and deeply admired the paintings that were perfectly hanging on the wall. Some are old, and some are new-looking and intricate. At the same time, a medium-sized chandelier hung just in the center of the whole place.
"Just relax, and I'll do the rest, okay?" She smiled and started to work on her way.
I took a deep breath and nodded at what she said. I've been coming here since I was a kid. They already have my trust, knowing that they wouldn't mess up with my hair. Auntie Mierda is skillful as well in her chosen work. Maybe that's why I keep coming back here.
It's already a win-win situation. Because of me, coming all the time to their shop, the people of our kingdom starts to come in here as well. I chuckled, remembering how other shop owners tried so hard to please me to come into their shops.
But those people, I know them. They only want me for money. They only want me because I'm a princess that can attract people to buy things and services that I use. They only want the fame and the power I hold. It took Auntie a lot of time before completely cutting my hair. Curling its measure.
"I heard that your favorite actors would play later at the theater."
My eyes widened in shock. It suddenly caught my attention, triggering my interest.
"What time, Auntie?" My curiosity spiked out.
"In an hour or two as what I can remember." She chuckled, seeing my reaction. I pouted as a flash of thought occurred in my mind.
The man from my birthday… I remember my mom telling me that he's one of the theater actors that went and took part in the play that happened that day.
I should come there and look for him. That bastard of a guy, I want to put him in his right place. How can he act like that in front of me?
"I should be going now then, Auntie. Thank you for the good service. I liked it." I smiled and hugged her before leaving. Roselia took care of the payment. Paying a grand total of 20 silver coins for the good service they have given to me.
"Your highness, where are we going?" Hearing a voice in my back made me stopped walking. I smiled, turning my face into her.
"We will go to the theater. I heard that there would be a scheduled play later." I smirked, fixing the bottom curls of my hair.
"I heard that they hired a new actor." Rosiana suddenly answered, gathering both of mine and Roselia's attention.
"Oh yes! It's a man, from what I can recall. I heard that he took part in the play that happened on your birthday too." Giggling, Roselia clung into my arms.
"Hmm… really? Then we should really come and see how well they are going to perform today," I smiled, starting to take a step.
We head on towards the car and ride it in a hurry. Saying on where we are going, Rosiana explained the place as the ride went on smoothly.
An old lady came to greet me. It was a sudden visit, and they all looked surprised at my coming. I awkwardly smiled back. The woman looks unpleased, probably because of her eyebrows and eyes. Her pointed nose and curvy lips told me that she was once a gorgeous lady when she was my age. Even though her features were already showing how old she is, she's still elegant and beautiful than anyone in her generation.
"We were all surprised by your sudden visit, Your Highness. Do you want coffee, tea, or water? We are very sorry for not knowing that you are going here today."
"No worries. I didn't know that I would come in here as well. It's an unexpected decision."
Looking around, I saw a lot of people looking in our direction. But once I turned my head towards them, they would instantly look away. I shrugged my shoulders and glanced over Roselia on my back.
I can feel that they are being conscious of what they're doing. Earlier, noises can still be heard, but now it's the complete opposite. We are still standing outside. We haven't gone inside, but the silence is already eerie.
"Your highness, let me tour you around. The crews are already organizing your seat."
Hmm, thinking that I probably won't have anything to do besides waiting, I agreed with her words. She took a quick step, and I followed her. Looking around, I saw the whole sight of the outside of the area.
A large beige rectangular building, split into an outer layer and an inner layer. The outer layer is supported by a series of columns placed away from each other. A large wooden door was placed in the middle, an opening for its guest. The whole design was alluring. The simplicity of each column and the details of every part were amusing.
"The place looks lovely," I stated midair.
A huge name in the middle, striking up in the middle, can be seen. "TEATRO DE ASTORA" with its oldness, I found it fascinating that one architectural design can stay this pretty for how many ages.
"Your highness, let's get inside." I glanced over the woman's direction and nodded.
I smirked. Now, let's see the guy who disrespected me.
