THE KINGDOM OF AZUITERRA

The news spread like a wildfire the next day. It was all over the palace and with that, it intrigued me. I was really not aware of how the other kingdoms work. I as well, don't know the names of the other royal families.

I'm not interested in royalty, growing up. Living a simple life, that was my dream since I was young. But then, I know I have a different fate to take

"Who is the prince again, Roselia?"

"Hmm… I didn't know the actual name of the person. But you know their clan, Elizabeth. They are way different than us." I nodded my head, understanding her words.

Our clan was the direct descendants of the Moon Goddess, Amaris. While they were the direct descendants of Hades, the God of the underworld. Their kind was unique, and thus the other kingdom feared them.

"Anyways, where is your sister? I haven't seen her for today,"

"Mama told her to stay in the house," She laughed and hugged the pillow beside the bed.

"Where are Mom and Dad, by the way?" I asked, remembering that I haven't greeted them good morning since I woke up.

"They were having a sudden meeting about the missing prince of Azuiterra." I nodded, understanding her words.

Is that really a huge issue? I was seeing it as a mere problem that was really unnecessary. I know that the guy will immediately come back to their castle, who doesn't want the royal life, right?

"I'll get the books you're asking me. Just wait for me here, okay?" I nodded, looking at the huge green fields in front of my window.

The vast color of green was outstretching towards both of the corners. The kingdom was quiet now, unlike yesterday. I remembered the guy, whom I bumped to on my way back to the room.

I was still pissed off at what that guy had told me. Remembering it, my brows went in a knot.

"Is the dress, okay now?" I asked curiously, looking consciously in the mirror.

"You look daring," We both laughed at what she said.

I'm wearing a black spaghetti strap backless bodycon dress, showing off my curves, that are somehow in the right places. I sat down in front of my dresser as they fixed my makeup and hair, changing the style of it.

My hair was now lying on my back, neatly combed. The pearl hairpins we're replaced by flower bobby pins. While my hair was placed on one side.

"Let's go, Elizabeth. I know that Queen Thaliah is already waiting for you," I laughed at what she said, nodding my head.

My mom has a very short temper, although she's kind. Messing with her was not on my bucket list, to begin with. I've seen her get mad a couple of times, especially to those who have tried to hurt our family.

"Coming," I hummed, fixing my dress for the last time before following her.

"You go first, I'll just go the bathroom. Don't wait for me!" Waving her hands to me, I steadily laughed.

Nodding my head. I waved my hands towards her direction, continuing my walk. I was staring at the floor, not minding what was happening around me. I was humming a sweet tune, a lovely melody to be heard with. But then, my forehead, tied a knot.

"Can you look at where you're going?"

My mouth fell hang open at what the guy has said. I couldn't look at his face directly since the hallway is quite dark and the bastard is wearing a mask.

"Me? Aren't you the one who bumps against me? I was walking fine with my own direction." Raising my eyebrows, I look at him from head to toe.

He's wearing black ripped jeans pairing it up with a black t-shirt, making it harder for me to see his built. I took a deep breath, calming myself down. I glanced over his direction for the last time. Rolling my eyes. He's not worth my time anyways, and it's my birthday celebration, so I should be kind to these kinds of people.

"Anyways, apology accepted," That was the last thing he said, before walking away.

My patience went downhill. That brute of a guy pissed me. My mood shifted ways. And while I was walking towards the entrance of the main hall, I was cursing that man to death.

"Sweetheart, are you okay?" I was startled by the sudden voice.

"Yes, Mom, it's just that I'm not feeling well." I smiled and hugged her in the back.

Wrapping her arms around me, I smiled. Feeling the comfort of a mother's love is really exceptional. My father was walking around, trying to socialize with the guest who went to my party.

"Mom, have you seen a man wearing ripped pants and a plain black shirt?"

"Why, sweetheart?"

"I'm just curious Mom," I smiled, biting my lower lips to stop myself from saying bad words about the guy who I bumped to earlier.

"I saw the clothes of those actors from the play that happened earlier. I think it's one of them,"

/-/

Hmm… so one of the actors, huh? I silently laugh in my mind. I didn't know why I was still feeling pissed at that guy. Maybe because he was the first one to do that act on me? Or maybe because I do feel disrespectful by the way he acts.

I was used to people respecting me, especially because of my family and the title I hold to. I'm the princess, the future ruler of the kingdom. I'm the second most powerful person below my parents who is obviously the King and the Queen,

"Elizabeth, here are the books that you have asked me to bring." My thoughts got interrupted by what Roselia has said. I smiled and accepted the thick book she's holding in her hand.

"Are you planning to continue your study about the other Kingdoms?"

I glanced over the book and nodded at her words. I think it's already the right time to continue my learning. After all, the missing prince has gotten my attention.

Hi! don't be afraid to give your thoughts about the book. It will really help me in improving the story. Don't forget to add this to your library! Love lots<3
