Vallea had returned to school and caught up with all the work she had missed And had caught up with her friends. She was now sitting her exams feeling quite nauseous. The sweat pouring out of her, she told everyone countless times she was okay and she’d just carried in going to school for the last three months with a tired and aching body, coming home laying down in her bed holding her stomach the pain excruciating. What was going on she couldn’t tell anyone they’d take her to the doctors or worse the hospital.
It was her last exam which she shared with her friends. She hoped she’d get through it. She was anxious and nauseous. She thought it was just nerves like all the other times. She’d met her friends and they had waited to be called in because she was pale and sweaty. ‘Are you okay Val?’
‘I’m fine I think I have a fever.’
‘You shouldn’t be here. You should be resting.’
‘I can't, it's our last exam. I’ll be fine.’
‘Are you sure?’
‘I am.’
