"Do not put me on the same level as those inferior tools." The voice seemed quite displeased with my assumption, not that I would have been able to tell the difference.

"So. What can you do?" I decided to ask since this was the most important question.

"Currently, there is only one thing I can do. And that is to allow you to enter and exit this space freely. You see, although I am a part of you, you can enter this space at will, and no one will be able to find you. It is a place that is separated from the outside world but, at the same time, allows you to see what is going on in the outside world as well. And lastly, since this is only the entrance, you can cultivate on the golden Jade Pillow to quicken your cultivation progress without worry about your foundation." The voice replied.

So basically, it was a god tool that had a space that could hold living things. "Can I bring people into this space?"

"You can but only one other person at this time. But I would suggest against it until you are much stronger. Many cultivators would covet the Nine Heavens Pagoda." The voice was right. But I only needed to be able to let my mother enter. This air here was dense with spiritual qi it was nothing like the outside world.

"I do not need to worry about this person coveting anything of mine since the person I speak of is my own mother," I said before looking around a bit. There was plenty of space in this room, so building a small bed and some other things was not out of the question.

"I see… now that you mention it. Your cultivation is that of a peak body fortification cultivator, but your bone age is… five years old!?" The voice seemed surprised. I guess even in its era, to see a five-year-old of this strength was beyond its expectations.

"To think I was able to contract with such a genius. This is truly fate." The voice seemed quite excited.

"I am only at this level because I have strange memories that have flowed into my mind since detecting spiritual qi," I explained. Other than that, I did not have much of an answer.

"Hmmm? I see… That is strange but not unheard of. Your soul might be from a different era or maybe even another world close to this one. If you are regaining some of your previous life's memories, this will probably continue until you fully remember who you are. This will help you in many ways and will allow you to make full use of me." The voice sounded very confident in what it said. If this was true, that would be amazing.

But first things first. The space, or the so-called entrance to the pagoda, was quite big—at least four times the size of my hut. "Say, if I were to cut down trees, could I build a small house in here?"

"A house? As long as you provide the wood, I can assemble one for you. You are now the master of this space, so you can do with it as you please. You do not need to ask for permission. If you need help with anything, you can just ask me, and I can assist you." I couldn't help but smile. This Nine Heavens Pagoda was really something. Especially the spirit, it was very helpful.

"Then I will get the wood together on my way home. I would prefer if my mother and I could sleep in better conditions." This was how I truly felt. Being able to sleep with out being cold or bitten to death by bugs. It would also give me peace of mind. Leaving my mother home alone worried me to no ends.

"If you are collecting wood, I would suggest getting some herbs as well. If you get the herb to its roots I can open up a small bit of space to plant them. Once you fully open the first floor, you can expand the area, making more room for planting." The voice really knew how to make me smile.

"Then I will do just that, Little Nine." I smiled brightly. I had to give the pagoda a name since it could talk.

"Little Nine?" It questioned in confusion.

"Yep, that is your name. Little Nine." I felt like it was a fitting name.

"Little Nine… I never had a name before. I like this." Little Nine seemed happy, which was good. I had many questions, but since it was already getting late, I needed to head back. I had to collect wood and herbs for the space on my way back.

The good thing was that I could converse with Little Nine in my mind when outside the pagoda. She, and by she, I meant because she sounded like a girl, could also detect herbs, allowing me to gather many different kinds quickly. For wood, I only needed to place my hand on the tree, and it would be brought into the space. While a tree was a living thing, it was no different from a herb. Only people were restricted based on my cultivation.

When I got to the tall grassy field behind my house, I stopped in my tracks when I heard a familiar voice yelling from the front of my house. "Where the hell is that monster girl? Bring her out so I can beat her to death!"
