Ruby's POV
Since Kehna arrived everything just became more complicated than they were, I can't talk back for some kind of reason and always act nice to her.
After what happened in school with Kehna, it felt like I was at my limit so I thought of persuading my parents to either cancel the dinner we were supposed to have with Kehna and her father or I'd show them the side of me that'll make them stay away forever.
After school, I entered the car and immediately told Miguel to take me home. He didn't hesitate since he had no idea that Kehna was back in school, but unfortunately, when he started driving, he saw Kehna cross to the other side of the road to take the bus.
I was looking out of the window when I caught Miguel trying to catch a glimpse of my facial expression. "No, Miguel we are not picking Kehna up" he nodded in response showing that he understood what I wanted to say. "At least for a while" I added.
