How did the caged mortals managed to live until now?
A lady vampire comes into the clearing carrying a basket in her right hand then put bananas and other fruits inside the cages.
Jessy noticed that the cage was rationed with water, she saw a coconut shell filled with water inside the cages.
The vampires were feeding these caged mortals with human foods regularly so that they can continue to feed on them.
She looked at the pitiful condition of the mortals, they had sunken eyes, hollow cheeks, vacant stare and dirty clothes, probably the clothes they wore on the day they were captured also the same clothes they were wearing now.
Jessy was shaking her head in disgust with the vampires' barbaric way of torturing the mortals!
She wanted to save the mortals but it's not the right time yet.
She has to think of a solid plan.
