Speeding Too Much (Part 2)

"Growth spurt? Then she needs food for it." I said.

*Grrrrgh!*

An audible growl was heard, comparable to a beast. But my Perception didn't kick in, I looked at Hyoran who is holding her stomach and slightly hunched over.

"I'm hungry." Hyoran said.

"Alright, we'll turn it in and find a restaurant." I said. "Arex, you can go back now."

*Bwing!*

Zala jumps out of my shadow and we got on to head back to Noltia using Space Magic and have Zala run the rest of the way there.

We went inside the guild and went to the receptionist to turn in our work. I dropped down the crystal pieces that was the Dungeon Core. The female receptionist was shocked.

"How...did you get the core so quick? It wasn't even 10 minutes and heading to Telgrin Mountains will take almost an hour." the receptionist said.

"I got a really, really fast horse and I have Wind Magic." I quickly answered. I can't let them know about I got so many monsters especially when I have Space Magic too.

The receptionist pulls out a monocle that has multiple lenses and looked deeply into the broken core. She takes off the monocle and nodded.

"It's a real Dungeon Core. Here's your 20 Silver Coins." the receptionist said and puts out a tray with the exact amount. 20 Silver Coins.

"These two kids completed a dungeon?" one of the adventurers said, a man with a spear couldn't help but listen.

"It must be a low ranked dungeon." a red robed man with glasses wielding a staff.

"Even if it is, a horde of monsters would be too much." the spear wielding man said.

We took the reward and went on our merry way to the restaurant. I did hear their remarks about us two kids clearing the dungeon, but I'll make sure I don't go too fast. I'll do the dungeon again after the other quest.

{Later...}

We reached to the restaurant where it was bigger than the tavern in Valtuz. Noltia's wood on the floor, tables, chairs, and counters were shining. It's like one of the replica of wooden houses in a certain hotel, but better.

We were greeted by the various smells of meat, sauces, fruits, and spices. The scent so rich, it could make anyone feel hungry even if they ate already.

But for Hyoran as a Beastkin with heightened senses, the scent was amplified.

"Aauuuhh...foooood..." Hyoran said in a complete trance. Her eyes rolled up, pupils dilated and glazed.

"Hey, we gotta find a table first." I said, shaking her. She snapped out of her trance.

We find a table for two and sat down and wait for someone to take our order. I see her eyes wandering into space in a daze as the scent of food surrounds her, whispering her name. Hyoran began drooling from the food that she smells.

"Welcome to the Verdant Diner. How can I help you today?" a female waitress comes towards us and have short red hair and ears coming from her head. I also see a red tail that has smooth fur and a round tip. A red haired Felian; cat Beastkin.

Even though I got pancakes from a different world apart from mine, I don't know if they know about chicken nuggets, french fries, or a cheeseburger.

"Uh...I will have a cheeseburger." I said.

"Okay, and what about you, young lady?" the waitress turned to her.

"Same thing, he's having..." Hyoran said in a half trance.

"Coming right up!" the waitress said with a bright smile and briskly walked away and turned back "Oh, and make sure your Lycanian friend doesn't eat the table."

I looked and I see Hyoran licking the table, panting as if she has been depraved for a long time.

"Hyoran, don't eat the table or you won't be able to fully taste the burger." I said, pulling her back by the shoulder.

"Uhhnnng..." Hyoran moaned in a low tone, being tortured by the scent of food when she is unable to grab it.

"Here you two go! Two cheeseburgers!" said the waitress, handing us two cheeseburgers.

The cheeseburgers shown to us have the buns with the sesame seeds, ketchup, mayo, onion, tomato, lettuce, and cheese. The good old classic burger. But there is a problem...

That burger is HUGE! So huge that it covered the plate meant for a full-course meal! Are they trying to feed an Orc or an Ogre!?

*Crunch!*

*Munch!*

I hear crunching noises and I see Hyoran already taking numerous bites out of the absolute unit of a burger. She's eating so ravenously that she's more of a hungry wolf than a person.

"Here goes." I thought and began my first bite.

*Munch!*

Oh...this is good! This is better than the fast food restaurants, cooked at home, and grilled at home! Although the burgers in my world are the size of my hand, but this...just one alone can feed a family of four.

Well...I'll eat as much as I can, but the rest must be saved for later.

{Later...}

"Ugh..." I groaned as I am completely stuffed, but the burger in front of me is mostly intact. I was unable to even eat half of it.

"Hyoran, how was your burger?" I said as I looked over and the burger that was there is gone.

"It was delicious." Hyoran said and she burps.

"How was your lunch?" said the cat Beastkin.

"Uh...can I take it to go?" I said.

"You can! That will be 1 silver coin." the Beastkin said. Another waiter came by and gave me a box for me

Wow, a burger this size can be comparable to a Wood or Stone Ranked quest. But I have enough money for it.

I gave her a silver coin and I put the burger in the box and sealed it up. Hyoran noticed me packing up and stood up.

"Thank you, please come again!" the beastkin said as she waves.

We walked out of the door to see Zala again waiting for us. I looked at the box and sent it to my Isolated Space.

"Let's go higher and reach Steel Rank." I said.
