Blake surrenders

The grade of the innate body and natal soul will determine the size and purity of the core formation, which is the beginning of cultivation.

If a person had a higher grade mortal body at birth, they would have a larger core, and if a person had a higher grade soul, then their Core will contain lesser impurities. And the Core is the basis of cultivation, so the grade of mortal body and soul are critical factors in cultivation.

After starting to cultivate the body and soul will strengthen, but the Core will never change. Even if a cultivator tries to re-cultivate by destroying his Core to form a new core, his physical body and soul will regress to its natal form. So changing the grade of body and soul is practically impossible.

Blake knew them very well, so he was sure they were going to search for Blood stabilizing treasures for Qi transfusion. He secretly shook his head; he was well aware of the complications and difficulties involved. The probability succeeding is very less, and failure meant a horrible death.

Moreover, the possibility of that transfusion will work is only 1% if it is done between unrelated parties and it will only work if a person with high cultivation willfully transfers a portion of their blood essence to a person.

The probability will increase if it is done by close bloodline. If a parent transfers Qi to their children, the chances of success are 25%.

Qi transfusion is kind of a taboo as it can only be done before cultivation. One Blood stabilizing treasure can only be used once, collecting one such treasure is itself a herculean task, and there are also many harmful side effects for the person transferring.

Destruction of cultivation realm is only the best-case scenario, and it can even lead to death in worse cases.

Before Blake could convince them not to do Qi transfusions, Helena spoke while signalling him to remain to keep his mouth shut.

Helena told Quinn to return to the room in a gentle yet strict manner. Quinn knew that his mother will get angry if he refuses. Hence he gave his parents a meaningful, serious look and then it turned into a naïve smile.

He completely ignored the old man who was standing dumbfounded; it was like Quinn was angry with the old man for some reason. Old Blake shook his head, seeing the boy.

He was happy that Quinn gave this old man cold shoulder. He was disappointed with old Blake for revealing about Quinn's mortal constitution.

When Blake heard Andre addressing him in such a distant and formal manner, he immediately knew that he was is in deep shit.

Blake thoroughly understood the situation. But he did not blame Andre as he was well aware that he was in fault. When he found Quinn's constitution, Blake was so shocked that he forgot Quinn who was standing in the room.

Though Quinn might not understand what Grade 2 mortal body meant he is bound to learn it and is sure to suffer.

"Enough Andre, you are just like a small kid. You fully realize that it was not my father's fault; father is just a bit old and shuttered a bit. Isn't that right dad?"

Helena chided Andre and asked Blake in a sombre tone with a cold smile.

If these were said by anyone other person, Blake would have thrown a straight punch at him. But now beads of sweats dripped down Blake's forehead and he even started to tremble all over when he saw Helena's smile.

He knew Helena very well if Andre was a sharp blade then Helena was a terrible poisonous needle. He knew if denial wouldn't help, surrendering was the way out.

"Yes, yes, Helena, I surrender. It's because I became old and senile that I couldn't quickly recover from the shock and revealed everything to that brat. So please forgive your poor old father."

Blake completely surrendered; he would have fought if it was only Andre, but he could only accept his defeat with Helena here.

Actually, Blake was not old; in fact, he just a youth for his cultivation realm. The reason he maintained his appearance like an old man was to gain some respect in society, only this sort of makeover is suitable for his job.

His idea really worked very well till now; this is the first time in his life he suffered due to his aged appearance.

The main reason he submitted is that Helena was like a daughter to him like the saying goes one can never win his own daughter. Actually, Helena was his close friend's adopted daughter, after his friend's death, he looked after Helena and treated her like his own daughter.

While Blake was apologizing, Quinn went to his room and sat on the bed calmly. He understood his parents very well, and from their expression, he knew Grade 2 mortal body was a severe problem.

Though he could not find the severity of the issue, he was sure that it was a side effect of his Primordial Chaotic physique, so he wasn't very much concerned about it.

Moreover, Quinn had the confidence to overturn any kind of misfortune; after all, he had everything he wished so he would work harder to keep his family safe and sound.
