First time going outside the Luminous church

"Mother, I won fair and square therefore you must grant my request" Aetheris complained as he saw the disapproving gaze of Triny but due to his stubbornness he refused to back down

The access he has to technology is so limited that it's actually none, although this world has a different cultural approach towards technology unlike Earth there are still some similarities that piqued the interest of Aetheris

During his training with Yuuki, Aetheris made a deal to leave the Luminous church so he could explore the Luminous state in case he won, and of course, Yuuki who was drunk with power agreed without thinking.

"Mother, Yuuki was sent by you to train me therefore she's your representative meaning she agreed to the deal on your behalf, or am I wrong" questioned Aetheris as he looked aside with a gaze of disappointment towards Triny.

Triny was already used to his cunning tactics, she knew that his display of acting disappointed was nothing but a facade but a joyful smile manifested on her face

During the past two months, Triny and Aetheris grew closer to the point where Aetheris was more than comfortable calling Triny mother.

"Hahhh, You're too smart for your age can't you behave like a child for a moment.. anyway what is it that you want to see so much by going to the Luminous state moth.."

"Nope, my contact with technology has been severely limited since I arrived at the Luminous church and you don't even want me to learn Arts since you always talk about that Academy of yours" Aetheris complained while Triny silently listened

The advancement of technology in this world is very high however it is inclined towards magic and other supernatural factors therefore many things that exist on Earth similar to the internet, banks, and TV shows. e.t.c are there but they are not the same and Triny limited the access Aetheris has to these things so he could properly train but is that really the reason.

"Mother, you said you're going to pamper me therefore I have several requests" suggested Aetheris as he handed her a carefully woven sheet made of his metallic silver threads and normal black and gold threads.

"These requests are absurd and overbearing but as a doting mother how can I refuse, follow me" Sighed Triny as she folded the sheet

"What is this Mother, is it perhaps a carriage"

Aetheris silently observed the carriage in front of his eyes, it's design was spectacular and carefully crafted.

The carriage was white and black in color, it had several runes inscribed on its exterior surface to be precise the exterior was adorned with intricate runes and symbols that pulse with life, providing both protection and propulsion.

These runes, powered by a rare, mystical Ethossence embedded in the heart of the carriage, allow it to travel effortlessly across vast distances or even through dimensions, bypassing traditional barriers.

"This carriage is my loan to you, you need a form of transportation to explore the Luminous state"

Aetheris slowly approached the carriage and opened its doors, Inside, the carriage offered an opulent, otherworldly experience. The seats are upholstered in fabrics that shift colors with the rider's mood, and the windows are made of enchanted crystal that offers a panoramic view of the surrounding landscapes, regardless of whether the carriage is moving through the sky or beneath the sea.

The air within is always fresh and pleasantly scented, thanks to a magical filtration system that also protects against any harmful spells or curses.

The carriage is equipped with an intuitive control system that responds to the rider's thoughts or spoken commands, allowing for seamless navigation. It also features a library of ancient scrolls and holographic displays that can project maps, historical records, or even stories of distant lands.

"Wow, I wonder if I can find something similar to further enhance the features of my Dyson sphere from 2.0 to 3.0" muttered Aetheris as he looked inside the Carriage with his eyes filled with curiosity, desire, and greed.

Yuuki suddenly emerged from Triny's shadow carrying a tray, on the tray there was a ring, two cards, and a plain wooden mask

"I brought the things you ordered for the holy son great priestess" Spoke Yuuki as she kneeled with a single leg and slightly bowed

"These are the things you will need before you leave, a storage ring, an identity card, my banking card which you can use to the full satisfaction of your heart's desire...and a mask to cast an illusion in order to hide your face" Triny smiled as she inserted the ring on his left index finger.

"Mother that is a wrong fin..., anyway I only requested a banking card so I can spend our money like any good son would *cough* what I mean is that...

I see the reason why you gave me the other items but why the mask when I can just simply suppress my horns" questioned Aetheris with a tone of confusion, the idea of hiding his face felt like a felony...a stain to his pride.

"Hahhh ignorance is bliss, have you seen yourself

Your facial features alone attract so much attention, that one can even say you are desired by men and women alike...I know you are a minor but it's the truth"

Aetheris silently looked aside with disappointment, inwardly he was cursing himself for being so handsome and Yuuki knew this tendency of his very well which is why she looked aside ashamed of his shamelessness

"Aetheris do you know what would have happened if you were found by someone else other than me.., they would've sold you into slavery for a hefty sum and of course, they would've..done some things I don't want you to know yet..

Slavery is legal based on certain conditions in the Luminous state, but in your case you had no identity or parents therefore you were a fresh harmless bunny perfect for predators

There are a lot of women who are thirsty and that sword in your pants wouldn't have helped your situation, the chances of you being kidnapped are very very very high...

don't look at me like that it rarely happens, but with that face of yours it will happen but of course, if you go with Yuuki instead of going alone you will be safe" Triny smiled as she saw the fear in his eyes, Aetheris's goal was to explore alone but Triny's words made him a little scared.. especially the idea of being kidnapped by thirsty men and women and being sold as a slave

"Yuuki let's go, this might be our chance to strengthen our bond...by playing a game of chess of course"
