Charles' birthday was fast approaching and Linda needed to do something memorable. As fate would have it, she received job offers which she stayed up late doing. After payments were made, she ordered gifts and paid for all the necessary preparations.

Of course, Charles was depressed, home wasn't reliable and cash, nowhere to be found. He never knew about the birthday surprise. May 28th came by, Linda had classes till 5pm, she left school, hurriedly picked the cake and carefully arranged the already wrapped gifts. The birthday surprise was a huge success, everyone was happy and danced all evening long and Charles in his emotional moment, hugged and kissed Linda.

Days after his birthday, he started having issues with accommodation, Linda was worried to the bones. "Babe, do you have 60k to borrow me for my house rent?", he sincerely asked her. She was sad because she had no way to help out. "What should I do, how can I help out?". The troubles just started and he was slowly going into depression. The pressure from his roommate was getting much and indirectly, Linda was affected. Charles started frequenting Linda's place just to get away from the roommate's consistent torture. An idea struck Linda, "why not allow him stay with you, since you guys are already a big family?". She talked to her roommate about it and Kim agreed. When Charles got to know about this, he was so touched. Linda literally went to his house, picked his bags and took it to her place.

Of course, people gossiped but Linda shut her ears to all rumours. She maintained her stance in the love race, chose Charles over comfort. Now, he felt like doing something to bring in money. The hustle he had once judged people close to him for was what he considered doing. "Babe, I'll be going to visit my cousin in the next town and hopefully, learn a thing or two about business", he told her one evening. "What kind of trade, is it something two people can do? because I want to also make money", she replied. Charles brushed off the idea of letting her know, took his bags and zoomed off.

For the 2 weeks they were apart, communication grew strong and love blossomed. "Linda, don't you think you love this guy a little too much? when he does something wrong in the future, you'd find yourself ignoring it. Take things gently and give him a benefit of doubt", Sayo advised. "Oh, Sayo, you are my friend but I go vex for you, which kind talk be this? This guy has accepted me for who I am, despite my challenging health issue, we have made up our minds to get married after school. He's one in a million", Linda replied defending Charles. Sayo had always given her harsh remarks about him because she felt there was a layer of him she had never seen but as usual, Linda was a fighter when it involved protecting his Angelic image in public.
