Start of the auction

While waiting for the auction to start, Felix took his time to see what the so called preparation time they asked for would do, and if it was worthy.

It turned out that everyone just wanted time to dress themselves in beautiful clothes and cover their bodies in jewellery.

Other than Sophia, Freya and Athena, every single one of his women wore wearing enough ornaments to cover almost every inch of their body.

Even their hair was not left alone with bright and showy jade pins in them.

As the women were amicably talking with each other while waiting for the auction to start, Hanabi told Nana to bring her information about what the items being auctioned today.

Irithel, on the other hand, looked vigilantly towards Slyvia who had happily wrapped itself around Felix's neck. Until now each of Felix's shoulder was being equally shared between her and Maria, however with the addition is Slyvia who was resting her snake head, on Irithel's side of the shoulder, she couldn't help but get defensive towards her.

Once a shiny catalogue with all the information regarding the items being sold today had arrived, even Eliza couldn't stay still anymore as she joined the other women to see what all were being sold. 

By now, other than the three pets, only Sophia was still sitting beside Felix not showing any interest in what was being sold.

Since she was unable to place her head on his shoulders which were being guarded by two aggressive beasts Sophia did the only other thing she could think of.

Whispering something into Felix's ears she managed to get him into accepting her idea. 

While the rest of the women were curious as to why Felix suddenly stood up, Sophia changed her position and lied on the sofa with her arms spread. After that Felix climbed on top of her with his head resting between her breasts as he gazed outside the window. 

"Are you comfortable husband?"

"Like you even need to ask."

Smiling gently Sophia wrapped her arm around his head as she stroked his hair with the other one. At the same time not only were Felix's women glaring at Sophia at how she managed to obtain this opportunity, but even his three pets were also gritting their teeth since they were forced to move away from Felix.

Behaving oblivious to all of the looks she was receiving, Sophia continued doing the same as the auction finally started.

"Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the auction of this millennium! The Golden Circle Guild thanks all of you guests for coming here and showing your support to us. So without further ado let's get started with the auction right away."

"I'm Gloria Sinclair, the host of today's auction."

"And the first item we have with us today is..."

For the next few moments not only were most of the men not paying attention to her words, and rather to her. Even Felix wasn't paying attention to what she was saying.

It wasn't that her beauty captivated him so much, but it was due to the new mission he received.

Having never received such a mission which didn't have a time limit, or forced him to do it due to the fear of failure, Felix felt that this was the systems way of suggesting to him that he should increase the number of his wives and concubines. 

In this world, the women who married an Emperor had four possible statuses. The highest status was Empress, followed by Queens, Wives, and finally Concubines.

Usually, a person would only have one Empress, and a few Queens. As for the rest, they would either be their wives or concubines, since having too many queens would lead to many complicated struggles for power between them. 

In case of Felix however he had 5 queens, but only 2 wives, and 1 concubine. Therefore the system was trying to get him to change his way and increase the number of his wives and concubines.

"What is it husband? Are you interested in her?"

Listening to Sophia's voice that didn't have the slightest jealousy in it, Felix didn't find any reason to lie.

As Felix nodded his head slightly, Sophia smiled and asked, "Do you want me to send Maria and have her captured?"

"There's no need. I've got my own plans."

"As you wish."

From then on there was no conversation between them as the duo enjoyed each other's embrace. However the same couldn't be said for the rest of his women.

Every once in a while one or the other would bid on something they like. Be it jewellery, dresses, pills, or whatever it may be. They'd bid on it as long as they found it interesting.

In fact, even Felix's three pets took the chance to buy the objects they wanted.

Looking at how all of them were spending money like water, Felix felt that it was quite good he had taken the time to rob so many people and fill his pockets with riches.

Only Sophia was the one who didn't show any interest in the auction, and never once bid on anything.

Luckily Felix sensed this and bought a few items for her which he felt would suit her. In them was a spatial bracelet, a necklace which could let her travel through space, and a few others.

By now the outsides had turned rowdy at all the great items that were being auctioned one after the other. And at how the guests in room number 9 had bought six out of every ten items that were being sold.

"Who do you think they are?"

"They're most likely a royal family from one of those strongest Empires."

"Really? How lucky that bastard is to be surrounded by so many women with such beautiful voices."

"Shhhh! Keep your voice down idiot. I don't want to die along with you."
