Placing a kiss of Seraphina's forehead, Elijah bid her goodbye and promised her that he would come back to her after finishing his work as soon as possible. He promised her that he would not only spend the night with her but would be there with her for the whole week.
But Seraphina had an inkling that this might not be possible, not for tonight at least. She was sure that Elijah was going to confront Marcus for he had confirmed with Asher through a message that it was Marcus indeed who helped Daniel get out of the jail and escape punishment.
Though she was not sure but she still wished that he would come back at her place for the night because Blake was just around the corner and Elijah alone might not be able to save himself from his ex-friend's evil plans. She could keep him safe here for she was trained in not only had to hand combat but also all the weapons that one could possess.
