Locked out

"boyyyyy!" that is all Lotus heard on his way floating down this seamless pond, well actually from the looks of it this silver pond was in actuality an expansive ocean. From the outside, it presented itself as a mysterious silver bond, but it was all but simple. Around him, Lotus experienced a turquoise embrace of tranquil pride, its endless depth and eternal beauty contrast with the dark lurking unknown.

Many things passed through Lotus' mind however some of the main thoughts were; 'how could that beast speak in the first place, 'where was he, why is he here, is there anything even here, how is this a treasure?'.

More urgently, by no means was Lotus a professional diver, this was evident as lotus began realising he had been roving the waters way longer than thought possible, in fact, the more he thought about it, the more he began to panic "mmm mmm" in a state of distress Lotus tried gasping inwardly for extra air, "would I die like this.. No way" he thought to himself

It was then almost by divine intervention that he thought if he can teleport, then he should try to now, in the instant he tried all sorts of things, coordinating his hands and fingers in weird shapes as if he was a certain wizard or doctor, he even tried visualizing the desolate land of sand he first found himself in it did not work, His eyelids becoming heavier and consciousness slipping away, it was then by tensing his hand into a fist and purely pushing out that the water around him expanded outward, leaving him in a bubble of air, floating in the endless abyss

"... Thank fuck, I'm the greatest" kissing his fist and pointing up to what was supposed to be the sky Lotus had saved himself from death, ironically between the dragon and water, the water was the bigger opponent for Lotus

Instinctively Lotus enacted a swimming motion and as hoped for lotus was able to freely navigate the depths, as such like a butterfly Lotus started heading downward deeper into the darkness "I'm gonna try to find the bottom"

A disgruntled wanderer, After an uncomfortable amount of walking finally came upon that which she called for.

At least she was hoping it was the place "Hmm is this the place"

two unbelievably large malt black doors, doors taller than 4 grown men stacked up on each other leaned inwards into what seemed more of a bunker than the location she had imagined

To her dismay, she realised no matter how much she pushed the doors could not move an inch.

She tried everything she could, pushing at maximum strength, gradually collecting a force of wind and pushing it at the door, but alas the doors did not budge

"I used all mana in that wind attack and nothing, great".

The sandy wind started to pick into her eyesight, then by chance, squinting her eyes to cover from the sand, on the doors she could faintly see some runes dimly fluorescing in a vertical line.

'runes, but these runes, I can't understand them they must not be from this land' she then proceeded to speak an incoherent language, trying

to decipher and analyse the runes on the door like an assiduous student ready for an exam

'This is not gonna be easy'

Back on Lotus' end he stilled had been roaming the ever-ending darkness just until finally, he seemed to have stopped into something 'oof, finally, is this the ground?' naturally Lotus could not see a thing and he knew it was utterly ridiculous to roam the waters with no vision but with no choice he continued to go off his sense of touch.

upon further feeling around, he felt what seemed to be a ring handle "A door?!" he muttered

toggling and pulling on it, nothing seemed to be moving

'it's locked?'

It was then, by providence, or the combined collections of the emotions of pain that they both felt from the feeling of powerlessness in their lives, with a pull of brute strength Lotus was able to open the treasure door and a bright gleam was revealed to him, a brightness that lit up the ocean.

and the mysterious wanderer was able to correctly speak out the rune "All things deep, have a deeper meaning, the treasure shines, and stays lightly gleaming" the two giant cave doors dramatically opened up for her 'yes, Finally, I was worried for a second there, but what's with the cringy poems' proceeding down the dark cave corridors upon reaching the end of it, an expression of expectant shock could be seen
