Chapter 4 - The meeting

I woke up the next day, and recalled that we were supposed to have a meeting at 3pm. I got off the bed, full of energy. Since it was a holiday, my mom didn't care of me waking up a bit late. After finishing off with the breakfast, I decided to complete my assignment which were due soon. Being a 15 year old at 10th grade, it was difficult to cope up with my school life and my personal life. Being a teen, every one expects you to behave like a matured adult and soon fit in society. I managed to bundle up everything and continue my life.

It was 2:30pm and I just took a long bath and had finished my lunch as well. My mom had made pasta. My dad was at work and brother as expected as was playing outdoors with his is so called "friends" whom are kids and complete strangers to me.

I turned on my laptop and decided to make the video call.

I quickly checked myself in the mirror if looked good, I left out my wavy hair which reached just above my waist and wore a crop top and leggings.

A noise was made showing that someone joined the call. I saw and noticed that Elodie joined, yea obviously.

"OMG hey Addy!" she yelped in joy. "You look so amazing wait till he comes."

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah right." Soon later the others joined and I noticed Josiah. i melted a little inside. He was wearing a gray hoodie and looked so cute. AHH WHY?!

Not waiting any longer we started to share our thoughts, plans, points etc. The call was in fact very fun. Kaiden started telling jokes which neither of us expected. He was always that guy in the corner. No body seemed to care about him, not in the bad way, but that we wasn't the social type of person. He had that black hair, well groomed as always, along with a brown pair of eyes which only portrayed innocence. While Josiah on the other hand had that messy dark brown hair with a few hints of lighter shades and he had hazel coloured eyes which were intimidating!

My day dreaming was interrupted by ear-piercing scream.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH....!" and then it stopped. Everyone was so shocked and Josiah started bursting out in laughter, when I noticed Rayna wasn't there in her room. Her camera kept moving as if she was vigorously shaking her device and moving it.

"Josiah stop! What is happening to Rayna?!" I spoke. Everyone seemed to turn their attention to Rayna's video when out of the blue, her video portrayed of her lying on the floor of her room. She was unconscious.

I gasped, not knowing what to do.

"Rayna! Rayna! Rayna!" Elodie called out. But she didn't seem to move. Wait, someone was there in her room"

And then her camera turned towards a masked man. He seemed to keep staring us.

"Shoot everyone leave the CALL! I say leave the call" I shouted out. Everyone left and when I was about to leave...

"Hey sweetheart, don't worry, your friend is fine, I just dosed her. But I will soon get you" and with that he left.

I started panicking and fell to the floor in my knees. My eyes were open, but blank due to all the unimagined things roaming in my head. I couldn't believe my ears.

It was him.
