Chapter 23: Meeting

Bright attended lecture the next day before trying to locate miss Abigail's location.

He moved straight to the point cafeteria, he went through the alleyway beside the cafeteria and covered his head with his hood. He came out in an open field, then continued walking around the field, he was following the direction from the indicator in his hand.

He came across a building, it was built like an arch, he went closer and knocked twice on the third attempt, the door opened wide. He entered cautiously while the indicator continued pointing forward, he moved cautiously. He came across a long stairs that led downward underground.

"I can do this" he said to himself. He took the first step on the first staircase. Immediately a clanging sound resounded and the staircase moved downward with speed. His heart almost jumped into his hands.

"Ahhhhhhh....." he screamed but couldn't move because his legs are stocked on the stairway, he continued screaming. Then suddenly the movement came to a stop, a force pushed him forward away from the stair.

'Blergh '

He vomited all the food particles in his tummy.

"Welcome to the 'AUTA' in full abi's underground training arch"

An autonomous tone said to him"sorry for the sudden movement." A robot came to welcome him.

"What the hell, why will you guys do something like that?" Bright complained.

"Like i said earlier, we are sorry for making you uncomfortable on your first visit." The robot replied

"we will try not to make it that fast next time "

"_" ...Bright

"So you're only going to reduce it, you are not stopping it entirely? Bright couldn't help but complain

"Won't you just let go, or is that the reason why you're here? A voice came from the training hall.

"hmm... " Brigh hmm'd

"Where can i clean my mouth?" Bright asked

"Over here " the robot replied

Bright went to clean his mouth before he walked straight to the location of the voice, while the robot keeps talking by his side. When he got to the source of the voice, he stopped to greet.

"Good afternoon miss" Bright greeted

"Have your sit and drop all the formalities, so...," Miss Abigail replied before being cut off by Bright .

"Em....can you please tell this thing to keep quiet" Brigh said while pointing to the robot irritatingly

"Hey i'm not just a thing, I'm an artificial intelligence. Okay let me tell you my features. " the robot began.

"Stelio enough, let my guest be" Miss Abigail commanded

"Yes master" Stelio which is the robot replied

"So why are you here? " Miss Abigail asked

"I'm here for obvious reasons, but i have a condition before i agree to be your student, i..." Bright answered before being interrupted by Stelio.

"Student? Student?.....why will someone who wants to become a student give his teacher to be conditions? " Stelio questioned

"Will you just keep quiet and stop interrupting me!!!. " Bright shouted annoyingly

"You don't even have the right to give my master a condition, you are even lucky she wants you to become her student." Stelio shouted back

"What do you even know, i wasn't expecting much from an ordinary machine like you" bright retorted

"How dare you call me an ordinary machine? I'm a master piece among robots, i do things ordinary robot's can't even dream of doing " Stelio countered

"Haha the hell....you actually claiming you're one piece of shit, where as you are just something that was being programmed to carry out specific functions" bright replied sarcastically

"Something? Something?.....did you just call me something? I am more better than you in everything " Stelio retorted

"I wasn't talking to you in the first place, must you interrupt?" bright questioned angrily

"Yeah i have to interrupt someone who isn't worthy to clean my shoes trying to give my great master a condition isn't that ironic? " Stelio said innocently. You can't tell if it is smirking due to it not having an expression.

"I would have loved to show you that i'm better than you in many ways" Brigh retorted

Miss Abigail sat quietly on her chair while listening to their bickers, until she had enough.

'Bang'

She slammed her table to get their attention, the duo moved their murderous gaze from themselves to her.

"Stelio you don't have the right to interrupt people, especially when someone who is likely to be my student. Do you think someone like that will be unworthy? " Miss Abigail questioned

"I'm sorry master, he is just more of a block head than you might have thought" Stelio replied solemnly

"What?!!!" Bright was furious

"And you....i will agree to your conditions but you have to meet up to my standards before that, i also have my conditions " Miss Abigail stated

"Okay shoot your shot, I'm all ears" bright urged

"it's simple, first tell me what your condition might be " Miss Abigail said

"Okay here i go....." bright told her his condition

"Hmm.... it's simple, I'll just apply my conditions to them too, they will be my student but not my private student, i don't want crowd" Miss Abigail agreed

"So what's your condition?" Bright questioned

"Your friends just have to defeat two levels each of Stelio's trainee, then ill consider them. While you have to defeat four levels before you're able to become my students else ill kick you all out" Miss Abigail stated strongly

"Hmm... Okay. But what are the levels of trainee we are to battle?" bright inquired

"Stelio will give you information about that, and as from now on you won't be able to reach me without Stelio until you become my student" Miss Abigail replied

"See....i'm much more important than you are, and i'll surely make things harder for you" Stelio said mockingly

"Till then you may leave " Miss Abigail concluded before standing up

"Come with me, I've tons of information to give you" Stelio ordered

"Hey... you don't order me around, you know? " bright snarled

"Meet me when you're ready block head " Stelio said while walking away

Bright looked at miss Abigail before deciding to go with Stelio

"I have to get close to him so i can find out how he is was able to activate the heirloom " Miss Abigail thought to herself

"Hey wait up, just tell me everything already I'm starving" Brigh said to Stelio

"Well... all i want to tell you is.... " Stelio stopped

"Why did you stop? " bright questioned

"Step on that board over there and i'll tell you what you are meant to know" Stelio said

"Hmm" Bright hmm'd suspiciously

He stood on the board while expecting information about he and his friends opponents.

"Okay...what i want to tell you is that, I'm not telling you anything about my trainee. No advantage for you... get lost. " Stelio stated and immediately pressed a remote he was holding.

Before Bright could retort and react, the board moved with speed upward toward the exist. He was flung out of the gate.
