Where Is Merah Taking Her?
Katie tried to get up and head towards the source of the sound. Unable to walk because her leg was still covered with green medicine, Katie took a step by jumping on one leg that was not injured.
As soon as she opened the back door, her eyes widened as she saw Merah was there.
"Merah, what are you doing here?" whispered Katie as quietly as possible. She worried if her neighbor saw a red wolf at her cottage's backyard. Luckily, it was work hour, so there were barely people nearby. "You know, you shouldn't be here. If my people see you, they'll kill you."
Even though it was quite as people worked on their field, Katie couldn't help but anxious, seeing the red creature get near her in this place.
Katie did not know if Merah could understand what she said or not as it did not budge from its place and looked at her with those puppy eyes as if it wanted to play with her.
If only Katie didn't have an injury from her legs, she loved to play with it, but...
