Katie was waiting on the chair with a frown on her face. Since it was late at night, Kinsey took her to the hotel and did not return to Mittenwald.
She wanted to order two regular rooms, but Kinsey insisted on sleeping in one room. The man even frightened her to book a suite on the top two floors. Katie flatly refused and immediately agreed to sleep in the same room.
It was as soon as she entered the room that Katie realized... Kinsey had set her up. The two of them both knew that they couldn't rent the most expensive room and so it could be tracked down by a hotel owner who was good friends with the Tettero family.
But the man instead pretended not to know and left her no choice but to comply with the man's request.
Katie massaged her forehead in frustration. How could the man lure her into the sly fox's trap?
