A Kiss??

Katie cried in regret over what she had done six months ago. Why did she have to play pranks to that rich-arrogant boy? And why did they have to meet again?

With quick steps, Kinsey returned to her and stood right in front of Katie. She lamented to herself, couldn't imagine what would happen to her.

Even though Katie was sure she was taller than Kinsey six months ago, but why were they the same height now?

She must act first.

She must attack before being attacked.

"What do you want?" there was a challenging tone in Katie's voice, lowering her hands on both sides.

"You seem to remember, huh?"

Katie swallowed nervously. Is her guess correct? Did this child come looking for her to reciprocate?

Umbra, help me. Katie begged in despair.

Kinsey moved forward and closed the gap that already almost none.

Instantly Katie's mind went blank, and her body tensed with what Kinsey did to her. She didn't expect nor imagine it. She also did not have time to react.

Only one move, Kinsey quickly kissed her left cheek, then smiled at her full of glory. For some reason, Katie could see the beam of light when Kinsey smiled like that. Her heart was pounding too hard like she was running around.

"Payback for that time," Kinsey whispered right in front of her face, making Katie's eyes widen.

After saying it, Kinsey walked back to Karel, who was still in shock. Karel himself had no idea that his young master would kiss a girl!

As soon as the two disappeared from her sight, Katie held both cheeks hot.

Katie just woke up from her beautiful slumber and realized her hair was long enough. Soon, her mother's friend will come to cut her hair back short like a boy.

For the first time, Katie wanted to let her hair lengthen. Therefore, Katie immediately sneaked out into the woods to look for the sleeping Umbra.

"Umbra! Umbra!" no matter how many times she called, the person did not appear.

In the end, Katie stood in the middle, straightened her chest, and took a deep breath.

"UM.BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!"

The Umbra, who was still sleeping in his artificial tree house, opened his eyes cautiously. He had thought there was a danger of stalking Katie. But when he felt no anxiety from the animals around him, he relaxed his muscles.

It seemed like her talkative little princess wanted something from him.

Umbra came out and jumped down to the ground, then walked over to Katie.

"Isn't today Saturday? I thought you wanted to play all day today? I never thought you were eager to have training."

"Who wants to practice? I still want to play."

Umbra sighed at that. Exactly as he had expected. Katie wanted something. Everything was visible when Katie hid her hands behind her back, then glanced slowly like the eyes of a pitiful puppy.

Ugh! He could never refuse anything the little girl asked when faced with Katie's amber puppy eyes.

"Tell me. What do you want this time?"

Katie's smile widened when she heard the phrase she wanted.

"I don't want my hair cut. I want to have long hair."

An eyebrow lifted when he heard this. "Why? You never mind before."

"That was before. I'm not a child anymore."

"You're still a child."

"I'm seven years old now."

"Still seven years old." the Umbra emphasizes the word 'still' when saying it.

Katie jerked one leg off. It was her habit to stomp her feet whenever she was annoyed.

Then, she returned her pitiful expression and looked straight at the Umbra's eyes, which he petty much want to avoid.

Umbra looked around, trying not to be caught in the hypnotic gaze of Katie's pair of amber eyes.

"The weather is quite good today. How about we climb the mountain now?"

"Umbra... come on ..." Katie coaxed while shaking his hand in a spoiled manner. "I also want to have long hair like Rosa. Can I? Can I? Can I? Pleeeeeeeasse!!" Katie bounced around to meet his eye. She tried to make her Umbra look into her eyes and granted her wish.

While the Umbra sighed resignedly at Katie's movements, he finally agreed.

"Fine. But you must be diligent in giving color spray every day with no absence. I have to buy more spray to cover the color of your hair."

"Hm.. I'll do it. You're the best."

Katie spread her arms up; then, the Umbra crouched so Katie could grab his neck.

"Muach... I love you, Umbra." after giving a short kiss on the cheek of her Umbra, Katie promptly returned to her house to inform her parents that Umbra had allowed her to grow her hair long.

Umbra was still smiling when Katie said she loved her. However, the smile vanished in quick double time when Katie ran back to her house. He was watching Katie with a look that was difficult to interpret.

"It must be because of the child. I hope they never see each other again."

Unfortunately, the child who was mentioned by the Umbra, Kinsey Alvianc, returned six months later. As he was worried, Kinsey came to see Katie again.
