chapter 7: compound bow and customize arrows 1

When Reno entered his new room. He saw a steel bed with a old mattress on it.

He can see that this mattress was old but it's still useable. The only down side was it was covered in dust and dirt making Reno to find a solution to clean it.

But first he has things to do which includes his bow.

His bow was just ordinary bow that made in simple woods and strings, but it has a limit too.

He remembered on how his enemy almost escape from him. As he tried to kill him using the bow. If it wasn't from the help of the people. He wouldn't kill him and he might sleeping in the streets while being chase by the gang.

As he look at the system market. He spotted something interesting.

Looking at the coins he got. He couldn't help but sigh in disappointed.

Most of his crystal coins was spend on arrows causing him to bleed in heart. Moreover. To avoid spending too much.

He even recycle them as the arrow's tip was almost bend.

When Reno took the book in his storage. He then read the content of the book.

Most of the thinks he read was related to melee weapons. Especially swords.

It contain different style of swords and how it's made especially procedure.

When Reno read it. This makes him frown more.

The weapon assembling book was almost the best book for black smith. Not to a guy like him who buy stuff and assemble the parts.

As Reno was starting to curse his luck. He then tried a different route.

Instead of making weapons. Why not find the parts for his weapons and assemble it like the game in cyberpunk character.

As Reno became excited. He then pack his stuff and he tell to the brothers that he will go somewhere.

On the top of the tallest building. Reno look at the book that needs some part of his new bow and arrows.

[Compound bow: this bow was strongest bow that even veterans are willing to use in both combat and hunting.

30 meter scope ( night vision is also accepted).

Green orb: increase arrows speed

Yellow orb: stun effect

Steel string from mythical metal

Reinforcement red metal

High military scope [for more information check the scope process.]

Note: if user made the special production compound bow, the overall damage will increase Up to 80% damage depends of the user's strength.

As he read the material except the making of the bow. He then tried to think a best possible way.

If he go to the normal production. He will have to go outside to hunt down beast especially duran knight.

Although it's a good choice. It was also the dumbest thing since he have to search the monster's home.

Not to mention the Duran knight.

Duran knight was a difficult A- rank monster that it will even take up to 10 people or more to defeat it.

Moreover it will took a long time to gather the materials he need.

He also think the special production bow. But looking for this materials was more difficult than the actual compound bow.

Most materials in the list was expensive or even rarer than the Duran knight.

Not to mention the mechanic.

He didn't know where to find a mechanic in the lawless city, since most mechanic was under the gangs or even organization's group.

For Reno, finding a freelance mechanic was no difference than finding a needle in the rice field.

As Reno think what is the best choice. He decided to take the second option. Which is the most hardest work.

In the middle of the night, two guards was watching outside but there eyes was struggling to open.

This is Reno's chance as he slip pass the guard who was in the verge of sleepiness.

Right now, Reno was carrying a large backpack in his back as he wore the mask that looks like a cat.

It took him a lot of time to find information about the materials he needs, and also a lot of time to find a better bag to use to carried.

He even goes as far as borrowing (steal) the mask from the poor youngster, who act like he was mighty person and Reno gave him a friendly punch.

To the point the youngster gladly let him borrow the mask and also Reno acquired another passive skill called salvage.

When Reno got the skill. He couldn't help but to twitch his lips as he only do that because the youngster piss him off.

Thinking about this, Reno could only shake his head as he infiltrate the base.

Right now, he was in the territory of night owls. One of the largest smuggling group and second to the black scorpion.

The lawless city are their largest operations in the kingdom, and black scorpion only came to the city to transaction to maintain stability for both groups.

Of course, this group have different branches in every parts of the country. But that story is for another day.

As Reno entered the building. He then entered the security room.

The reason he did this, is to find a information where the items are located. And most important. If this world was like his previous world then there will be cameras everywhere.

Lucky, there is nothing like security cameras or even surveillance but rather. The old style guarding the building using people and dogs.

This satisfied Reno as he look at the desk to find a map of the building. Unfortunately. He didn't find the map he wants but rather, a very interesting information.

When Reno read this, he couldn't help but smile ear to ear and spoke.

"So they have blue print of steel titan unit and ancient warship."

Both of this was unknown to him, but Reno already day dream a large army, where he stood tall in the top of the mountain where the sun rising while using such thing.

This imagination almost drool him, but he come to his senses as he was still remembered that he was in the enemy territory.

As he sneakily entering the warehouse. He then saw someone inside or rather someone has been tortured.

He glance at the old man who look like the same high as the children. He look battered and full of wounds in his face.

Upon seeing this, he looks pitiful as his instincts wanted to save the old man. But he stop himself.

There must be a reason why this old man was here. Moreover, his in the enemy territory meaning if he save him. There is going to be another luggage in his back.

As he tries to sneakily trying to look of other warehouse. The old man spoke.

"I don't know who you are but can you help me out here?"

Looking surprised, Reno look left to right if someone was here. But the old man chuckled and said.

"Don't worry no body's here and don't worry I won't tell anyone after you save me."

As Reno think carefully. He then heard footsteps coming.

This makes Reno to be nervous as he tried the best way to get out the situation and then, he decided to entered the warehouse.

The old who was looking at the entrance saw the man wearing a cat mask and a coat.

What surprised him was this youngster was a half breed as he jump from wall to creates, and when to the steel bar in the ceiling to hide.

When the old looks confused. The man in uniform entered the warehouse with several people causing him to frown.

'tsk, now I understand why that young lad entered. And here I thought I can finally free.'

As the old man grumble. The middle age man sit on the chair and said in cold tone.

"So, old man are you ready to work for us?"

As the old man look at him with a glared. The young man continued.

"Listen old man, you didn't have to look at me like that. Besides, we just want you to make something for us that's all."

"Do I look like easy to talk?"

"Of course you don't, but it's for your own good too. If you help us we are will to heal you and we even go as far as letting you free after you are done."

As Reno listen to their conversation, a notification pops out.

[You found a helpless man who needs your help. You have two choice if you help him or not.]

[Help: help the old man from the owl night by killing everyone in this warehouse.

Reward: 10 crystal coins and exclusive weapon that the old man made.

Don't help: you don't want to help the old man because you are too weak and pathetic and just watch him to torture until they left.

When Reno look at the quest. There are two things come to his head. First the exclusive weapon. Although he didn't know what it was. He wants to acquired it and lastly.

He hate the second option for insulting him so much, he took the musket in his shoulder and said to Sylvia.
