A flash of thrill and excitement appeared in Cain's eyes as he heard those words, but he hid them well, not allowing anything to show. He simply smiled at the old man and nodded. "Of course, always glad to accompany the honorable councilman."
After that exchange, Councilman Irion and Cain rose into the sky. While Cain could rise to the sky thanks to his own power, the old man had to use a medallion that seemed to imbue his body with the ability to fly.
As the duo flew back to the castle, the grand structure nestled between the three Saintess statues, Councilman Irion spoke in a solemn voice, "Less than ten years ago, the Trinity Island, our home, suffered an invasion that consisted of a force with the power to completely obliterate us."
