Cain remained silent, adopting a solemn expression. The connection between Kryos and the fallen Grand Elder was clear, and he knew better than to interrupt the elder's moment of reflection.
After a few seconds, Grand Elder Kryos's eyes regained focus as he turned toward Cain. "You are free to train here but be careful. This place carries the weight of a great soul and should be honored as such."
"I will make sure to show the proper respect," Cain replied immediately, his voice filled with sincerity.
Kryos gave a small smile before nodding. After one last glance at the place, the Grand Elder turned and flew away, leaving Cain alone in the sacred vertebra.
Cain looked around, allowing himself a few moments to gaze at the grandeur of the place. The power and energy that flooded the area were unlike anything he had seen before. Just breathing rejuvenated his vitality and soul.
