Cain returned the smile and nodded toward the old man. Once he was alone, he began to search through the books. While he could no longer rely on his Ego Wave to read and had to do it using his eyes, which was much more time-consuming, his mind still worked extremely fast, allowing him to go through a 500-page book in less than a minute.
