Cain's death
"BOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!" A massive blast of fire erupted as Meylin used her violet sword shards to forge a canopy above her head, protecting herself from the gigantic flaming hand descending upon her.
The Sacred Saintess was able to defend against the flaming hand, but it took all her power, preventing her from making even the slightest move. Sweat dripped down her forehead, and her arms trembled as she channeled every ounce of energy into maintaining the protective barrier.
Helios smiled as he saw the struggle etched on the saintess's face. His eyes then shifted, turning toward the one he wanted to kill the most—Cain.
The scarlet dragon coughed up a mouthful of blood, feeling overwhelming pain coursing through his body as he pulled himself out of the cratered wall. His vision blurred, but there was no time to think about the pain or the damage his body had endured as his instincts screamed at him the very next second, and he immediately moved to the side.
