Nobody told me this story. I was hearing it from the first time. It made me realize that the Emperor did not play with words when he said he would put our heads all over the city. He meant it.
"So think carefully before you point fingers at us" Queen Valeria said.
"Where should I?" I was not convinced. I knew these people too well. They never admitted to their evil doings. "Grandmother if you remembered, when I recovered from the fire…we stood there" I pointed at the spot not too far way.
She remembered. I could see her expression.
