First meeting

Emma took a short break to relax and saw Izzy in the restaurant.

She decided to spend her break with her but was somehow preoccupied with her thoughts and didn't hear Izzy when she called.

"Emma, Emma!" Izzy called out "Hey, Earth to Emma, wake Up!" She snapped her fingers.

Emma immediately came out of her thoughts and looked at Izzy.

"Babe, are you okay? You seem lost." Izzy said with concern in her tone.

"Yes I am." Emma said but sighed.

"Emma, I can tell you're not because whenever you sigh it means there's something wrong in your thoughts!"

"Alright, you win." She sat up straight and faced her. "I've been having nightmares! I'm a little bit dis…" her eyes shot wide open and she gasped. "He's here Izzy!"

Lo and behold, her distress and sleepless night which was all due to her nightmares became an actuality as she set her eyes on the man that held her in her dreams.

"Who are you referring to?" Izzy asked, uncertain who she was referring to.

"Him!" she pointed and Izzy followed her finger and saw Azazel entering the restaurant with a few of his guards in tow.

"Do you mean Mr Alaister Azazel?"

"Yes I saw, I saw him in my… Ahhh! Is he a vampire?" She shrieked in fear, remembering how he dug his fangs in her neck but Izzy felt she was being delusional.

"Emma, was it a vampire you saw in your dream?" she asked and Emma nodded.

"Hm."

"Emma, you must've been reading too many novels recently that's why you saw a vampire in your dream but Mr Alaister is definitely not a vampire!" Izzy reasoned and she gave it soke thought.

"Yeah, you're right. I must be stayijg up too late these days watching fantasy movies that I'm now dreaming of them!" Emma said and took a deep breath.

"I don't really know what you saw in your dream but everything is fine, okay?" Izzy encouraged and Emma nodded.

"Thanks babe."

"You're welcome," Izzy hugged her.

Meanwhile, Emma couldn't stop staring at the demigod standing a few steps away. She referred to him as a demigod because of his impossible looks.

She had never seen a man so beautiful and attractive in her life. It was almost like he was a perfect existence.

Emma suddenly realised she had been holding her breath.

Finally Azazel looked up and their eyes met. She immediately threw her face aside and blushed.

'Why does he have to be so eye-catching? Is he a god or something?' she thought and took a leak at where he was standing but he was gone.

Just then, one of her male co-workers walked up to her.

"Emma!" He called. "You need to serve the vip room now."

"But I'm still on my break." She said

"Do you want to question the manager because he's the one who asked me to relay this to you." Hearing this, she spranged up like a soldier.

"Yes sir!" She said and smiled at Izzy. "I got to go!"

"No worries!" Izzy said, smiling back. "And Emma," she called, looking concerned. "Be careful, okay?"

Vip room

Azazel was deep in thoughts as he reminded on the scent he caught as soon as he entered the restaurant.

It was such a familiar scent but he was certain he had never come across itin his entire life of living.

It was alluring and he felt it was taunting him.

'There she is Azazel!'

A voice whispered in his soul. It was his demon and it was never wrong so he looked up and saw her.

Emma walker in with a confident expression and holding onto a notepad. It was as though a light was glowing over her and he muttered out silently.

"She's an angel!"

'Azazel she is beautiful!' his demon whispered once more.

Her Amazon figure sat well on her wafer- thin body.

She had a decanter shaped waist and her complexion had an impeccable, ochorus hue. Her pencil - thin eyebrow eased down gently to her black, beetle's - leg eyelashes.

When she broke into a smile, it was as if her beguling oyster white teeth lit up the room. A sculptor could not have fashioned her any better.

Her voice suddenly broke him from his mesmerizing thought.

"Good day, sir! Can I take your order?" She asked.

"Well it depends!" He said and his lips curled up in a smirk. "Are you ok the menu? If yes then I'd like to have you." He said and she stared at him, confused.

"Me?" She asked, unsure if she heard right.

"Yes!"

Emma had prepared herself both mentally and physically to be able to handle his presence. She wasn't going to let a dream deprive her of worshiping this godlike masterpiece sitting in front of her and she certainly wasn't going to let his beauty sway her either.

'God he is so breath taking.' she thought, trying not to be too obvious. But it was definitely obvious.

"Are you done checking me out?" Azazel asked and she flinched.

Her cheeks reddened at being caught and she asked, "What do you want, sir?"

"I will get straight to the point. I want you to be my wife." He said and she froze. I'd she hear him right? Where did that come from?

"Don't joke with me!" She said, laughing lightly. She took a seat while at it.

He stared at her with a serious gaze and she she felt he was really being serious.

"You're serious!" She said in realization.

"I don't make jokes." He responded and she scoffed.

"Joke or not, that request is a bit ridiculous, don't you think? You don't know me or anything related to me so why do you want to mess with me? Do I look like a pushover?" Her words were sharp and decisive and Azazel chuckled.

"Silly girl!" He exclaimed and looked straight into her eyes. "Twenty two years old. Parents dead. You currently live with your best friend, Izzy. Crazy; yes, relationship; none" he said all those things like he was reading from a book and she felt vexd.

He sensed her outrage but didn't say anything.

"Were you stalking me?" she asked with annoyance in her tone.

"And what if I was?" He dared.

"Then, I will kill you!" said Emma, with no fear of the consequences of her words.

"Haha, Feisty! I like that!" He smirked.

'He is crazy!' she thought. And she was right he had indeed lost his mind.

Then she remembered her dream and decided to ask.

"Are you a Vampire?" She asked and Azazel stared at her, amused and then, he laughed. "I'm being serious! I may sound crazy right now but I've been having nightmares about you drinking my blood." She said but realized her words were stupid. "It does sound crazy! Only vampires drink blood and you're not a vampire, right?"
