Poison
The first thing that went out of control was the smell. In an instant, the calm and collected alpha smell had turned into a sour mess and the face had twisted into an unrecognizable frown.
"Keito, don't be a fool. It was bound to happen sooner or later" the omega didn't pay much attention to this explosion, too busy checking other items for poison. It would be a problem if everything was laced with poison.
"It should not have happened at all" the last words came out as a growl and it scared the kid who had been looking directly at the king.
That expression, that aura and that rage, it was not natural at all. Of course, it scared the small kit enough to hide even deeper inside the covers.
As for the alpha? He could feel his sharp nails digging inside his hand. No, they were not nails at all, but claws. His agitation had brought his claws back out without his knowledge or permission.
