A New Day

It was 5 am when Aife woke up as usual. She got out of her cosy bed unwilling to leave the warmth of its comfort but did so anyway. As she began her daily routine she walked to her spacious bathroom and stripped off her clothing as she warmed up the water in the bathtub, adding her apple and cinnamon incense as usual. After her bath she brushed her teeth and with a towel wrapped around her body went to change her clothes. Aife decided to dress casually today so she wore her favourite midnight blue cropped leather jacket with her black ripped skinny jeans and a white shirt with her all-star galaxy converse high tops. She tied her now messy waist length hair in a neat pony tail. Looking in the mirror Aife gave herself a nod of approval and walked downstairs for breakfast.

As Aife walked downstairs she noticed that Jason was already downstairs dressed in his black biker leather jacket and a camo shirt with faded black jeans with black vans on. "Good morning Jason, how come you are up so early?'' Aife asked sweetly.

"Well that brat Wyatt, wouldn't leave me alone last night. He kept on asking me about your love life and if you were dating anyone, I didn't answer him though." Jason said with a sigh,

"Yeah, I'm sorry that you had to suffer that yesterday but he was trying to hit on me, so I rejected him, I guess he didn't take that lightly." Aife said.

"Well Fae if even tries to touch you, much less flirt with you while I'm around, I can guarantee you that he won't make it to the temple in one piece." Jason says with an evil smirk.

"Jace" Aife said sternly" You know very well that I can take care of myself."

Wyatt then walked into the dining hall where Aife and Jason were. "Good morning beautiful, and Jason" Wyatt said with a smile.

" Speak of the devil'' Aife mumbled under her breath

" I wish I could say the same, but sadly since you walked into the room I now know that this will turn out be one shitty morning" Jason said with annoyance clearly evident in his voice.

Aife giggled lightly at her brother's comment. "You know, you sound cuter when you laugh. I can make you giggleif you decide to spend some time with me" Wyatt said with his permanent smirk slapped across his face

"Well I'm giggling only because I know very well that a certain someone behind you would not be pleased by the way you're talking to me." Aife said with a quick nod to whoever was standing behind Wyatt.

"You know I was very much present when you were flirting with my niece. You must be very idiotic if you really thought that you could get away that. The only reason you are still standing here is because you're the hero of the prophecy. Don't think that if I catch you doing this again that you will leave the room unscathed." A very angry looking king Robin told Wyatt,

"Anyway, getting back to business" Robin turned towards Aife and Jason "I want Malia to join you on your journey despite what the prophecy says as she is an excellent healer and she also can help with the fact that she can use magic like Aife and Jason making her very useful." Robin stated in a 'no nonsense, and argument' tone. "Yes, uncle" Jason and Aife said in unison. "All of you begin packing immediately, you will leave tomorrow at the break of dawn. But first finish your work for today." All three of them nodded their heads and went to start their daily routine.
