The Bone Hero, Jokara

The world of villains and heroes. Something right out of comic books. But for these people, it's a reality. And it's nowhere near as fun as the comics make it seem. Tag along with Jokara, an enigma even in his own world, as he tries to discover some kind of meaning and drive for himself. Disclaimer: Jokara will become a hero. But at the same time, his actions will often be very questionable for a hero, as well as a villain. (This is my first story. In my opinion, it's really not that good, and I want to get much better. Please keep that in mind as you read it. I would seriously appreciate constructive criticism, but please don't be a dick about it.)

Chapter 31: Beginning Of The Descent Into Hatred

(Daily Music: Friday Night Funkin Annie Mod-Animal)

Currently, me, my classmates, and Class 1-B were in the forest. Class 1-B had to try and scare us using their Lura.

I really don't see the point of this, but whatever. I just knew that they would fail to scare me. Nothing they could do would effect me.

Suddenly, I smelt something burning. I looked around me, and noticed a purple-ish mist. I knew for a fact that this didn't belong to anyone that was with us. I ripped part of my top and wrapped it around my mouth, and blocked the openings in my nose with a flat layer of bone.

"Hey, look at that!", I heard Midoriya say. I looked at where he was looking, and saw blue flames enveloping the forest. That was definitely what the burning smell came from.

"Villains!", I exclaimed. How did they manage to get here?!

I instantly thought of my parents. They would be at risk!

I took off the weights I was wearing so that I could be as fast as possible. With all my weight off, I dashed to where they might be. The problem is that I actually don't know where they are, so it's just a matter of covering as much area as possible. It didn't help that I was exhausted from today's training, so I was far slower than I would normally be.

-Meanwhile, with the Pussycats-

Pixie Bob, Mandalay and Tiger had been ambushed by two villains, one with the look of a lizard and the other had brown hair and wore shades.

Pixie Bob was at the mercy of the one with brown hair, since she had been targeted when the two of them made the ambush.

"Now, no sudden moves, or I'll have to put this kitty down.", Magne, the brown haired one threatened.

"We're here to uphold the principles of Stain and purge the fake heroes!", the one with the lizard-like appearance said. His name was Spinner.

"Pixie Bob has been an incredible hero! She's saved countless lives for many years! How could you cut off such a happy life under the guise of an obsessed killer?!". Tiger yelled.

"Maybe you haven't realised it isn't your guy's job to be happy!", Spinner yelled.

Just as Magne was about to do something, she noticed that Pixie Bob was nowhere to be seen. This confused her, since she was right under her weapon just a few seconds ago. Until she saw that there was a small child next to Tiger. The child held Pixie Bob, and put her on the ground. The child then did something that, somehow, healed Pixie Bob's injury.

-Jokara POV-

It's great that I discovered that Heal is also a property I can apply to my bones. I healed Mom 1 by making a small, harmless (To her) bone with the Heal property, and her injury healed at a visible pace.

These scum made the mistake of attacking someone in my family and destroying our home. Not only that, they are fully willing to kill my classmates and my family.

I have no qualms killing such scum. But unfortunately, my family and the idiotic hero society does. If someone saw me kill them, it would be endless annoyances one after another. So I might as well substitute for it by making them wish they were dead.

I would be targeting the bitch who was going to harm Mom 1 first.

-3rd POV-

Magne was confused seeing an 8 year old child in front of her as an enemy. She, and the other villains who were attacking, were told that one of the students was younger than all the other ones, but she didn't think for one second that they meant 8 years old. At most, she was expecting them to be 3 years younger than the rest of the students, not someone who was 5 years from even beginning to be considered a teenager. His speed was also incredible, since she didn't even notice Pixie Bob get taken until it was too late.

Before she could even entertain the thought of offering him to join them, she felt her right knee break, the bone shattering into what must have been hundreds of small pieces.

Jokara had made a 6 foot long blunt bone, and had imbued it with the property of Metal, making it much harder, more durable, and adding much more striking power to it. He had then dashed over to Magne and slammed her right kneecap. The force shattered the kneecap into hundreds of small pieces.

This was the result, even after he lowered his level of strength exponentially as to not kill her, even though he really wanted to.

Before Magne could even let out a sound of pain, he did the exact same thing to her left kneecap, making the same thing happen, shattering it.

She collapsed to the ground, letting loose a scream of agony. Both of her kneecaps had been pulverised in such a short span of time that they might as well have been broken at the exact same time as each other. The pain of the first bone break hadn't even registered before the second one followed it's fate, adding onto what was already going to be agonizing.

As she fell to the ground, her partner, Spinner, had only now seen what happened to his comrade. He was fighting with Mandalay, as well as Tiger, and was desperately trying to dodge all their attacks and trying to get in any attacks with his large weapon that was made from many other small ones, so he didn't have any chance to try and save his ally.

Now that Magne was down, it was him against the brutal child as well as the two Pro Heroes. If he could have, he would have instead chosen to retreat or try and enlist the help of some of the other villains that were attacking the training camp, but the problem was that the child who so effortlessly took down Magne was the fastest person, no, the fastest thing in general that he saw in his entire life. So, that option was out of the question.

However, him trying to take on all three adversaries was also just as outlandish.

As soon as Spinner saw the condition of his comrade, he was knocked to the ground by the white haired child the same way that his ally was. Both kneecaps were pulverized at blinding speeds, and he crumbled to the floor.

With both of the Villains on the floor, Jokara made a bone construct in the shape of an infinity symbol, but the openings were big enough to wrap around the hands of the villains. When the bone locks were on their arms, he made them shrink to become tighter. Out of spite for the two who tried to kill his family, he made them tight to the point where it was making marks on the skin from how tight it was, and also made it jagged, so that small spikes on the cuffs would dig into their hands, drawing blood.

That was when Jokara realised something that terrified him.

-Jokara POV-

"WHERE IS KOTA?!!", I yelled. I just now noticed that Kota was still at the lodge when we went out for this activity. That means he could be in danger with the villains running around.

Mom 1 and Dad got terrified looks on their faces.

Oh no.

I knew that Kota often liked to stay around a mountain that was close to the lodge. He could be there.

I dashed towards the direction of where the mountain he hung out as was located.

Come on, come on! If only I wasn't so tired, I would be able to go much faster!

-3rd Pov, with Kota, 2 minutes prior-

Kota was at his usual spot that he went to whenever he wanted to be left to his own devices. He was going to go back to the lodge, until a large figure, clad in a cloak and a strange mask made himself known.

The figure took off his mask and cloak, and what Kota saw terrified him.

Short, spiky blond hair. Large. Bulky. Extremely Muscular. Black Eyes. He had one prosthetic eye in his left eye socket, as well as a scar on both the left and right side of his face.

The one who killed his parents when they tried to stop him from his carnage.

He stood there, frozen in fear. He wanted nothing more than to wake up and realise that this was just a nightmare. Some kind of messed up joke. Anything, just as long as it wasn't real. But no matter how many times he shouted in his mind to wake up, no matter where he looked for anyone manipulating any strings, he was horrified each time to discover that this was reality. Some twisted form of fate made it so that he, with no way of defending himself properly, would be found by the one who killed his parents.

"Ah, you're the brat of those two that gave me this scar. Hehehe! This is great! With you gone, the family will be reunited! Ha, you should thank me!", the deranged villain laughed maniacally.

Kota turned and tried to run, but the large man appeared in front of him instantly, jumping off the side of the mountain wall towards Kota.

Kota was nowhere near fast enough to react to the monolith of a man boosting towards him. The villain made what seemed to be muscle fibres come out of his body, covering the entirety of his right arm. He swung at Kota using his boosted arm.

And took off Kota's head.

-Jokara POV, current time-

(I highly recommend that, if you can, listen to Petit Biscuit- Night Trouble (Official Audio) on YouTube for this scene)

I could see the mountain that Kota liked to stay at in my site. I ran up the mountain side, arriving at where he liked to look over the forest.

Wait, is that...no, no. no... please no...

I took shaky steps towards something that I hoped with every fibre of my being was not what I thought it was.

Each step I took, I felt my breath get more unstable, my legs shake more, my eyes go out of focus.

Black shoes. Blue pants. White shirt.

Please.. no.

W-where's the head?!

I didn't want to. I didn't want to do it, but... I looked ahead.

There... lay his head.

No..

Please...

Please don't let this be real...

I kept trying to make excuses for why this wasn't happening. I kept trying to fool myself.

But everything I told myself was brought down by the sight of the decapitated head of the one I considered my little brother.

Tears fell freely to the ground from my eyes. I fell onto my knees, not able to support myself or tell my body to do anything. I couldn't focus enough to do so.

Why.. why him?! Why did he have to die?!

Why did he get subject to the cruelty that I wanted to protect him from!?

No... I know why. It's because the scum that commit these atrocities are let free by the trash that is the Hero Society. Instead of ending all the trash that commit these horrors permanently, they just lock them away and call it a day. Because they think that morals outweigh the lives of the innocent. That they would be just as bad as them if they put a permanent end to their carnage. And their puppets, Heroes, share this false ideology.

It's because of trash like them that innocents like my little brother are killed.

No. More.

I am going to stop these things from happening, the way I know how.

Fear.

They will never harm anyone innocent ever again, under the fear that I do to them what no villain would be able to stomach even thinking about.

From now on, I will do everything my way. I don't care if I get kicked out of UA or labelled as a Villain. I don't care if they send All Might himself after me.

I am taking care of things my way.
